I have been a member for a couple of years, the first in my family. I referred more than 10 people, each of them referring a couple netting join vip several accounts. call quality is good, when you get a line.

The problem is: the company cannot be trusted. They advertize one thing and do something else. I referred almost a dozen people but got only a couple of the bonuses. Every time I call and ask why, they have reason. At the time the account is setup it looks it goes well but the bonus does not post. When I call and ask, they tell me a reason why? I then try to correct whatever artificial reason they have but then NO bonus can be given at that time as "the account is already in our system"

Simply, disgusting! They have NO sense of customer service and they HAVE NO regard to their customers.

A couple of times, I was charged minutes when I didn't even hear a connection. I called after seeing my minutes going down for a few times and they give the same NONESENSE. "Sir, you were connected. The person on the other side answered the phone. But, yes, it was 2 minutes. It might have been a minute and a second..."

All kinds of nonsense. I say AVOID them

I call Ghana and Ethiopia often. I was used to using calling cards and I was tired of all the hidden fees! I saw found VIP and no longer do I have to deal with any of that! Great customer service, great app (VIPConnect), and cheap rates. I suggest anyone to try them out once, you will not be disappointed!

I make a lot of calls from the US to the UK, but also all over the world for my work, and I have tried lots of different services. VIP is hands down the best of the lot. The quality of my calls is always excellent. Virtually every other service I have used has problems with poor quality or calls that don't connect - not so VIP.

Then there is their customer service. Yes, they actually have live customer service. No one else I have used has good customer service, and it makes a huge difference.

Price wise, they are great value. There are lower calling card prices but they always have hidden fees and you get charged for calls that don't work.

They also have a great app that works on Android (I think they have iPhone and Blackberry too), which allows me to dial right from my mobile's address book. Very nice!!
