Dell Inspiron 1300 Charger

I would have to say the website:http://www.dell-laptop-batteries-adapter.co.uk really has it all (Great Price, Super laptop batteries, amazingly-fast delivery, and fantastic customer service). I would highly recommend this website to anyone planning on buying a laptop battery. this website is a true credit to the internet retail community.

The Dell inspiron 1300 laptop is small business and home usage aim, for this is good, only the battery is poor, 4Cell original battery is short lasting life. But that isn't a problem, the replacement 6Cell 9Cell 12Cell dell inspiron 1300 battery have been issued, which has solved the power problem. You can see the best and high quality dell inspiron 1300 battery at http://www.dell-laptop-batteries-adapter.co.uk/dell-inspiron-1300.html

Will Never Buy A Dell Again Thanks To Their Servic

WILL NEVER BUY A DELL AGAIN THANKS TO THEIR SERVICE SUPPORT. Purchased this Inspiron (it's actually an Inspiron 1370 but don't see any other reports on this machine so included under 1300) in December 09 and warranty expires Dec 2010. But warranty as much use as a glass eye. Dell support is dreadful. Followed info/leads on web for on line chat only to get message on line help not available "yet!!!!" for my machine. Eventually rang a number for service and got recorded message number changed. Rang new number and got recorded message that I'd called out of hours - they said hours were from 9am to sometime. It was approx 9:30 am when I called!! So called sales - yep got answer there ok. They put me through to service. He took details of Service Tag and asked that I hold the line. Line went dead. Phoned sales again and asked to be put through to service. He took Service tag details and said service on this machine not available at weekends - phone back Monday! This despite the web site saying service is available weekends! And I wounder if and when I do eventually get some help willI be paying premium phone rate despite it being under warranty??

Absolutely useless. Might be the best machine in the world but if you can't keep in running properly and get support easily and when you need it - it's a waste of money.

Like Some Of The Other Reviews On Here, I've Had T

Like some of the other reviews on here, I've had this laptop a few years now and to be honest, wish I'd sent it back when I got it. The battery life has been awful and without me even loading more stuff onto it, it's just got slower and slower. I also had the issue of the cracks around the hinges but I don't think this is specific to this model.

Bought From Dell Outlet For Around £300 And

Bought from Dell outlet for around £300 and have owned now for about 4 years. When it started to go wrong I bought an HP Business laptop and repaired the Dell.

Some anti virus software can make it a slow boot.

hard drive didn't last long at all and fitted much bigger one and more ram. Battery life was awful and soon died. Screen not that bright too.

Wouldn't buy Dell again. HP much better, but this is an entry level laptop and you get what you pay for. Was using as a back up machine, but using regularly again since HP fell on the floor and broke usb ports.

Netbooks for the money a much better buy in my opinion.

I Bought This Laptop In Feb 2006 For Just Under &p

I bought this laptop in Feb 2006 for just under £300 direct from dell, the battery has only lasted for an hour at the most since I bought it and now only lasts about 15mins before it goes completely flat. The speed is awful, the fan kicks in all the time and is very noisy, the speakers are poor quality and like other reviewers Ive found spare parts expensive. The power pack provided broke within the first year of owning it so I had to buy a replacement which I luckily sourced in Tesco! I definitely would not recommend this laptop.

Before I bought it I would of liked to of been aware that spare parts would be so expensive and also that the battery life was so poor.

If you're still struggling with the battery power of the laptop, I'd recommend you get a new one, which is what I did. Gave me 2.5 hours more battery time until that one went eventually too.

I Have Owned An Inspiron 1300 (same Thing As A Lat

I have owned an Inspiron 1300 (same thing as a Latitude 120 by the way) for several years and it has undergone a few changes that may interest users. I would not recommend it as a single purchase but only as a back up machine to a better laptop.

The screen quality is reasonable although not awfully bright. The construction quality is also reasonable but, as with many laptops, the plastic around the hinges has developed tension cracks. The big problem with the 1300 is that it has limited computing power (slow CPU and poor graphics hardware) so it is effectively a large netbook and no more.

My Inspiron 1300 shipped with 256Mb of RAM and Windows XP. It soon slowed down to a crawl in normal use. I cured this by; 1. raising the RAM to 1Gb, 2. getting rid of Dell's support software which effectively stopped it working and finally, removing Windows XP and replacing it with Ubuntu Linux (easy to do). The laptop now runs fine although the graphics hardware is still limiting.

The Dell Inspiron 1300 Is Slow And The Battery Is

The Dell Inspiron 1300 is slow and the battery is awful, the plug sometimes doesnt connect to battery and makes the battery run down in 30mins. I spent £200 on it and am so disappointed even though it was cheap that im buying a new one 1 month after buying this laptop.
