Rca Rc5910p Is A Aweful Dvd Player. Dvd's Are Hard
RCA RC5910P is a aweful DVD player. DVD's are hard to read or won't even load. If they do load, it skips and drags on the DVD. RCA claims it can play various types, but trust me it does not. I would stay away from this model. It broke within the 1st month and RCA customer service department is the worse I have ever seen in any company.

This player is a piece of junk, suitable only as a garage floor mounted travel stop for your car !
Even though it was new, Thomson "repaired" all the players in my Radio shacks stock and I tried 3 of them. ALL drop frames, skip, lockup, and generally make you want to go back to video cassette. I have only watched 4 movies that have not exhibited these traits, and they have all been newly purchased, or in perfect condition.
If there was a rating below "0", this turd would get it.
Thomsons "concern" is also laughable.

The RCA RC-5910P DVD player is a piece of garbage, it has trouble reading discs.
I agree, the rca RC-5910P uses to freeze neither vieo or audio or boths for a second or two while playing dvd's, not always but it does that....

Unbelievable, is this RCA? Whoever they are, thank you!!!! I got it again at my local radio shack for 250.00
I am a dvd movie fanatic because of it. Again this blows away not only the panasonic dvd player that I had but the SONY one that my brother brought. the dolby 5.1 on it preforms lovely giving you excellent sound quality, also coming with a remote, the rca 5 disc changer allows easy access to my tv and stereo reciever. Yee ha, I have to go see another movie now, bye...
