I Lunched There Recently And Could Only Describe T
I lunched there recently and could only describe the experience as excellent.
Intimate, with crisp white tablecloths, sparkling glasses and cutlery. The two course menu is priced economically at under a tenner and, more importantly each course is generous but if you would like extra items these are a little more.
The menu is varied and interesting. The food arrived on time and was elegantly served. The plates were warm and hot as appropriate and finally the food -- I can only repeat -- excellent.
If you take my advice and visit I hope you will not be disappointed.

A Restaurant Of Wonderful Ambiance. The Four Of Us
A restaurant of wonderful ambiance. The four of us booked a table for a quiet Monday evening meal and we received a very friendly greeting when we arrived. The menu presented was extensive and we had no difficulty in finding choices we found appealing. The chefs also offered additional choices not on the menu.
We enjoyed the three courses long with a very good bottle of wine. At the end of a pleasant evening at The Four Season all of us agreed we would not hesitate to return again.
Very strange. They aren't open on Mondays.

I Have To Say I'm A Little Surprised At Some Of Th
I Have to say i'm a little surprised at some of the comments with regards to this restaurant. I have been going to the Four Season Restaurant for a little over 27yrs and the reason i frequent it is not only because of the atmosphere but the service and excellent cuisine they offer. I have found Angel Marques and before him his father Pepe to be Hosts of the highest quality, hence my continual visits.
As with anything in life there will be occassions when expectations are not met but this have been very few and far between. My company holds luncheons there and we've even have 3 Christmas dinners there.
We found the prices to be highly competitive with local businesses.

Visited This Restaurant On A Sunday Lunchtime. Ou
Visited this restaurant on a Sunday lunchtime. Our group were the only people in the restaurant and based on the food I received I can understand why! My starter was ok but would you really put the end circle of tomatoe on a advocado starter - I don't even put them in my children's sandwiches. On to the main course which was without doubt the most dismal of sunday lunches I've ever been presented with. Roast potatoes were the frozen variety (even Aunt Bessies would have been an improvement) and thet were really dry. Yorshire puddings were from a packet and tasteless. Beef was tough. Carrots were served through a circle of cucumber ???? Courgettes were burnt and greasy. Not sure what the slice of orange was about! When I complained about the food the manager said it was because I asked for it to be kept warm whilst I tended to my baby. My son had the same meal as me approx 30 minutes earlier and his food was exactly the same. I would not recommend this restaurant.

My Husband And I Returned To This Restaurant On Ou
My husband and I returned to this restaurant on our 6th wedding anniversary having not visited for over 5years. We were met with dull, dingy, tired looking interior that have not changed in all that time. There were only two staff attending to at least 10/12 tables which lead to lengthy delays in attending to our needs. Our table was not ready with cutlery, glasses or napkins when invited to sit down. We had already chosen from the menu in the small bar area so this surprised us. The food was bland and presented poorly. The garnish of salad accompanying my fish was limp and smelly. No offer of bread accompanied the soup and two requests for water was completely ignored. When water finaly arrived it was warm, with not a hint of lemon or ice. Decided not to risk the desserts and we left never to return again.

First Visit. Very Unfriendly And Intimidating Sta
First visit. Very unfriendly and intimidating staff, very slow service (waited 45 minutes for dessert). There were 4 in our party. Starters:- Whitebait was overcooked and dry, the pasta in the pasta parcels was thick and stodgy, the filling of salmon & asparagus was tasteless and the lemon sauce was overpoweringly lemony - tasted like an experiment gone wrong! Main:- Pork was overcooked and tough, one of our party of four had the pasta parcels as a main (wrong decision). The vinnison was delicious. Dessert: 2 were good but 2 wern't. Tirimisu didn't have that thick ouzing liquour, it tasted of cream bland cake with coffee sauce drizzled over. The bread & butter pudding was bland, did not taste of marmalade at all and the creme Enlaise was dissapointing and not very vanillary. An unexpected service charge of 14% for very poor service was the last straw. It was my aunts treat so I didn't complain.... an uncomfortable and dissapointing experience.

I Dined Here With My Wife And My Brother And Siste
I dined here with my wife and my brother and sister-in-law after driving through Chobham and seeing their special 40th anniversary offer of a 3 course evening meal for £14.95, I thought I was seeing things and drove back to look again.
I had not been to this restaurant for over 20 years and remembered being excellent so was more than willing to book a table and look forward to the event.
I wish I had not bothered ever going back, it was absolute rubbish and the prices sky-rocketed as soon as you sat down as anything decent on the menu was at a supplement and even charging extra for a bread roll that was not mentioned when it was offered.
When I received the bill the bargain price of £14.95 per person had turned into £35 per person including a glass of wine each.
The service charge of 12.5% was also annoying and the comments regarding bringing my change were also angled at hoping to get even more.
The interior of this place has not changed since my last visit 20 years ago and is now very tatty and the place is poorly lit, no doubt so you do not see the food too closely.
I very much regret my mistake of dining here and consider it to be a sheer waste of money and an evening spoiled and under no circumstances would I return, even if it were free!
I have had to describe this restaurant as quiet and refined as there was no option for dingy rip-off joint!
