Nothing bad to say apart from the fact that the wait for the shuttle bus from LGW to APH was relatively long (25mins).
No damage to the car, and otherwise a smooth service. Would use again just due to the relatively low price.
Do not book with Holiday Extras - book with APH direct.

Car Used As A Smoking Shelter?
My mother used APH in June and returned to a car stinking of cigarette smoke, She herself is a non-smoker. She went and complained and they said that perhaps it smelt because the person collecting a car next to hers was smoking as he picked his up. How does such a strong smell of smoke linger in a car for over a month from someone smoking for a couple of minutes next to car that has no windows open and is fully locked!

Have traveled with a Ph several times and the people who expect the driver to carry there cases lift them yourself lazy people they drag them from their houses and all round airport but as soon as they get near coach it suddenly weighs double hey only got one back I am 59 years old and don't expect anyone to do it for me so stop moaning u packed it u carry it rant over

Purple Parking Gatwick- Damaged Alloy Wheel
Returned from an 8 day break away to find my NS rear 19 inch black alloy wheel had been kerbed, resulting in about 8 substantial chips in the paint... which stick out like a sore thumb on a dark wheel... and they were fresh!
When I discovered the damage I immediately went back into the Purple Parking office to inform them of my findings. One of employees IMMEDIATELY went on the defense and said, "Well it wasn't anyone here!"..... and that was even before anyone had been out to see it.
I was then quickly whisked away to the customer service managers office to diffuse the situation and for him to try and take down my details and gather pictures of the damage.
Instant denial is NOT what I would call good customer service and that also raised my suspicion that they were already aware of it!
ON subsequent emails I was told the marks were on the wheels when I arrived (i know they weren't) & they sent me the blurriest darkest images (after i requested them) to prove the fact.. In fact the images are so bad you cannot even see the wheels! All they did was draw circles around where they thought the damage could be & told me that was their proof. Utter rubbish!
My battle for compensation is still ongoing.
I will NEVER use them again & I would NOT recommend it to anyone who has a vehicle they care about either.

Aph Airport Parking To Be Avoided
APH is using anther company for online booking and that causes problems, you can easily miss their coach when coming back as it is the other company's bus that stand in you mind becasue your bookng has gone through the other company (Purple parking).
APH is far from the airport, compared to other companies. It takes a long time to get to the terminal and the other way round.
And it's not clearly sign-posted either. A small post next to a petrol station can easily be missed.
Not a good experience.

Disastrous Experience Of Parking With Aph Luton
We booked through APH Parking. They recommended Paige Parking at Luton to us. We were going a a week long skiing trip. It was a disaster from the start to have booked parking from them. Paige Parking lost our luggage on the dual carriageway on route to the airport. The driver had neglected to lock the door of the luggage trailer which swung open and our luggage fell out on to the road. This could have cuased a serious accident but he wasn't bothered. he dropped us to the airport without our luggage. We missed our flight because we waited for him to go back and try to recover our bag from the road. We then had to call them several times before they would collect us and take us back to the car parking office. Our holiday was ruined and we had to literally battle it out with them before they gave us back only part of what we had lost. Expensive ski wear, treasured xmas gifts which we had recieved just two weeks earlier and two full days of skiing off our holiday. No compensation for lost ski passes, equipment and a ruined holiday that we had paid for. We tried to go back to APH parking to ask their help when Paige Parking were being unreasonable and they did absolutely nothing to help. APH should carefully vet the parking companies they recommend on their website and should not advertise substandard companies to get business through them under false pretences of giving good service,

Luton Meet/greet
We booked a Meet & Greet service at Luton through APH. When we returned our car was damaged. We have been unable to get any response from the Swiftpark and APH will take no responsibility although the booking was made through them There own parking services have always been good but I will hesitate to use them again now.

Very Poor. Damaged My Car And Denied It.
Very very poor. Make sure you request car inspection on arrival; otherwise they will wriggle out of responsibility for any damage done by them. Minor damage was sustained to my car whilst left in their care. Without any investigation or discussion with me they wrote denying any responsibility. This was on the basis that the Terms and Conditions (which of course no one actually reads on internet purchases) state that you must request an inspection of the car on arrival, otherwise they won't accept liability. Therefore if you have to use this firm I suggest that you request this service beforehand.
Exactly the same. We left our BMW in their care for a week only to find scratches to the paintwork on our return. The manager was very courteous and took some pictures saying that we needed at least two estimates for repairs and it would be dealt with. A few days later we received a letter from a Mrs NS Izard in their operations department saying that because we did not have the vehicle inspected on our arrival with at an additional cost of £5 as outlined in their terms and conditions, they would not be held responsible. Again no one actually reads the terms and conditions on an internet purchase as supposedly we are dealing with a professional company. So, buyer beware as their terms are FULL of get-out clauses.

They admitted to parking my car 3 miles off site where they promised me it would remain on the site I left it. When I returned from holiday I found that they had taken property from the boot of my car. Don't trust them

Aph Kerbed My Alloy!
Have used APH for years, never again. Returned from holiday to find a badly damaged alloy and they deny all responsibility as I didn't check before I left.
Never use this company, I never will again. The lost business will cost them a LOT more than repairing my wheel.
Terrible service from a company who are meant to be looking after your pride and joy.
