Purple Parking at Gatwick South

I booked a Holiday Extras Meet&Greet at Gatwick South. In fact, Holiday Extras seemed to act simply as an agent for Purple Parking, for an added small commission fee. Car delivery was effortless, but car return was slow. We had to wait for 40 minutes after the phone call to collect the car ("we will be with you shortly"), and this was only after a reminder phone call after 30 minutes ("the car will be with you in seconds"; it still took another 10 minutes). Had they only informed us about the waiting time rather than pretend the car was on its way, we could have taken a cup of coffee while waiting.

Reliable and Good Prices

Always use Holiday Extras. Parked at Manchester T2 and no issues. Found a place easily and barrier was no problem on arrival or departure. Would use this Car Park again and book through Holiday Extras.

Good to use app instead of trawling through emails for details needed for travel. Good rates too if booking things such as airport car parking in advance.

I always use Holiday Extras for booking my car parking at the airport. It is always convenient to find my booking in their app rather than trawling through my emails and the rates are always slightly cheaper than going direct if booking in advance.

Good Service But With A Nasty Surprise

I chose MBW as I have used them before and had good service. All went well and I called MBW when I had collected my bag at Terminal 3. I was in good time and delighted when they told me my car was already in the car park. I was able to collect the car as soon as I reached the desk on the 4th floor and drove away. There was a bit of a queue to get out of the car park and I was surprised to be asked to pay an additional charge to leave the car park. I used my credit card to make a contactless payment thinking I was paying about £7; annoying but not a disaster. Looking at my credit card app this morning I have a pending payment to T3 Short Stay for £39. Not happy at all!

Excellent Service

The car park is close to the airport terminal as promised. The barrier opened for entry and exit using number plate recognition, no need to collect a ticket.

Spaces were a suitable size.

really glad to have booked the lounge at Heathrow. It gets really busy so book ahead otherwise you're unlikely to get in. Good choice of food and drink and the wifi was good. Staff quite welcoming - could be better!

Good Food An Added Bonus

Good room, easy to find and park, car park sizes good, i drive a pick up! Staff very helpful and willing to help go the extra mile, add in good food and service when eating, fast check out for a early morning start.

Easy And Straightforward

This was our 2nd experience of drop & go and we will definitely be returning to the service. From passing through the number recognition barrier to collecting our key on return couldn’t have been easier.
