I used cartextcheck to show the guy that bought my car it was ok, he then checked the car he was about to see after mine and it was a write-off!! We couldn't believe it!

I recommend it when looking for a car although you will need a more expensive web based check to search for any outstanding finance it will still tell you if it's stolen or written off.

Car Text Check is NIce and fast, but no check on outstanding finance, which can be a problem if you are buyng from a desperate seller who may not have fully paid off the dealer. A real danger if you are looking to buy a nearly new vehicle that might not have been paid off fully yet.

Very quick, almost instant and contains DVLA data will stop you buying a stolen or written off car.

Good fun and very worthwhile.

Generally Text Check car data check is a good service as it tells you the make/model part of the VIN No, colour changes if any, how many previous owners also the first registration date

£3 is pretty good overall as it text me back within 30 seconds and if youre out and about looking at cars or bikes its an instant way to know whether to steer clear or not! Can't ask for much more really for that money!
