Just escaped from brean sands pontins are they running this campsite into the ground is disgusting filthy should be demolished lack of staff the worst holiday I have ever had if you are thinking of booking for pontins do not

Unclean unfriendly wanted to leave within the first 10 minuets had to sit and watch people clean our chalet ad left crush crumbs on the floor by the door. Can't get any drinks at night and the manager is exstreamly rude there in no rush at all to help what so ever ! Worse then a public toilet foods disgusting

The Chalet was awful it smelt disgusting. Mattresses were stained and the pull out bed was very uncomfortable.

There was rubbish everywhere in the overgrown grass with loads of cigarette ends outside the chalet door.

Swimming pool is good although not big enough for the amount of people you get queuing outside (queued for ages just to be told it was full so were given priority ticket for next session-this stopped us from going out for the afternoon. Two days after we queued for 45 mins to make sure we got in).

Couldnt fault night entertainment just not enough clapping, Bluecoats were fab.

Would not go back!!!!

Came away with bits on my feet and legs someone I spoke to had rat dropping in there room we had flying ants in the bathroom no poison complaining as complained when first got there had to complain 3 separate times 2.30pm 3.48pm and 6.40pm before they did what I asked which I have taken photos of the outside apartment and inside for a club which is there top of the range was a joke if I could give a zero on the review or a minus I would

Unfortunately we got a last minute deal x4 days 31st July -4th August Going with my Daughter and 4 Grandchildren x3 school age and a 3 year old . Thought what was going to be a lovely family break ! Children so excited and looking forward to all that Pontins had to offer . Arrived Monday lunch time to find no food Venue open so took a walk outside Pontins to a family restaurant which was good . Arrived back children played in softplay which was good . Then queued in a large queue at 4.00pm to check in ! Oh my it was an experience . To drive to accommodation which was at the far back of the holiday site . Not a problem thought it was fine from the road to which we parked ! Shock and horror when we open up the chalet to find a filfthy outdated and run down accommodation !!! My daughter used a bottle of beach and domestics spray on cleaning while I amused 4 very excited children ! We cleaned and unpacked our possessions which we had taken for our lovely 4 day break . Trying to keep positive and happy for the children we took them straight out for food and to see what entrainment was on offer as no programme was provided . Which when I asked at the reception I was told to take a picture on my phone as they were not given out !!!! We went to the Lunar area which was nice for the children with Blue coat entertainer ! After that it went down hill , the main hall was overfilled with no where to sit or even stand ! Went around amusements and took children for a walk again outside the site ! The accommodation was so small and not pleasant to sit in as the sofa was a bed for which x2 were sleeping ! The kitchen area had a very small space which had only x4 chairs so no where to sit as for Six people as requested . We had a very uncomfortable first evening so after talking we decided to leave as was not fit for purpose and took 4 very disappointed children home . Would definitely not return again sadly would not recommend to family and friends .

We were quite apprehensive after reading all the bad reviews that we went armed with bleach and cleaning materials, on arrival we were pleasantly surprise and cleaning materials not needed. It was clean and tidy, basic but it's not a 5* hotel. Staff were friendly, we did not use any of the amenities there as only booked as a base to stay. The 'down' side was 1 plug socket in the kitchen area for kettle, toaster and microwave. The mattresses seemed newish and comfortable enough, but the double and single mattresses were 6 inches wider than the bases. Overall a pleasant stay.

Avoid going.. seriously the worst holiday park ever.. old dirty chalets. Rude staff.. disgusting food.. everything is worn down to the bare minimum and it needs to be shut down. Clearly looks like they are struggling as a park.. my kids 8 & 3 wanted to go home by the end of the 1 st day we got there. What was meant to if been an enjoyable family holiday turned into a miserable mess made by the park themselves..

Very basic accommodation, but you get what you pay for. Entertainment excellent but lack of bluecoats. One bluecoat however stood out very talented excellent host and great with kids getting everyone involed. One Bluecoat deserves recognision , the site is near all amenities so didnt have to travel in car to get to places.

From start to finish this holiday was a disaster, check in took a hour to get keys all stuck in a hall the staff weren't bothered about you had to say to them,the apartment was very dirty and most things broke swimming pool was dirty & freezing most of the equipment was broken only 1 place open from 9pm so nearly 90 minutes queuing to receive your horrible food wouldn't recommend this holiday to anyone it not a great family holiday.
