I Agree With One Of The Previous Reviewers: Brown'
I agree with one of the previous reviewers: Brown's is totally overrated. We first ate there 10 years ago and were not impressed at all. This year we decided to give it another try as so many people seem to rate this restaurant very highly.
We found the ambience in the restaurant dreary and depressing rather than "magnificent" or "charming". The food was not bad but far from special. The service was rather lukewarm. Overall it wasn't a great or memorable dining experience and we will not be returning to Brown's.

On Previous Occassions This Restaurant Has Been Fa
On previous occassions this restaurant has been fabulous on every level, however in the last 6 months the menu has changed and I feel this has lead to the restaurant not being able to cope with more diners. This will be the 3rd time in the last 12 months I have been to Browns and I was disgusted with the service last night. I arrived at 8pm and 50 minutes later no one had come to take our food orders. I complained to the manager that we wanted to leave and all the manager said was "I'm coming to take your order now". This was not good enough and only after being left waiting a further 10 minutes to get our coats could we leave. I will never be eating there again and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. There are plenty of nice restaurants in Worcester; Browns is no longer one of them.

Brown's Is Totally Over Rated. It Trades On Its Re
Brown's is totally over rated. It trades on its reputation, fine if you are looking to impress a girlfriend or mistress but if you are a real foodie you will be disappointed. I went 10 years ago and was disappointed but decided to give it another go after reading so many positive reviews, all I can saw to the people of Worceter is get a bit more as this place is not even in the second division !!

Only Good Things To Say About Brown's. The Servic
Only good things to say about Brown's. The service was really excellent. Professional and understated.
Food was of a very high quality with some excellent extra unexpected touches. Beautifully presented.
Good setting overlooking the river.. We had the express lunch - 3 courses for about £13. Pretty empty on a Monday lunchtime. Fortuntely stumbled across this when 'The Quay' was closed.

I have been to this restaurant three times now. And each time, although the overall experience is good, I feel that the quality of the food lets the place down. The food at The Sauce factory is far better quality and value for money. I feel that if Brown's were to improve the food, this would be one of Worcester's top restaurants.

Excellent Food, Been To Brown's Several Times Now
Excellent food, been to Brown's several times now and always had a great evening. I drive for 30 minutes to get there and it is always worth it. Service is punctual but relaxed so you don't feel like you're been watched. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Although not a cheap meal, it is still good value, as the table is yours for the evening and it takes all evening to get through the meal and drinks.
