Do Not Book On A Weekend!!
We booked a holidays to goa on a Sunday,October 2015 as they advertised they were cheapest telling my partner being excited all booked, my partner phoned me 20 minutes later and said he had found 2 other companies cheaper , same flights and accommodation, went back on my booking confirmation which was paid in full for a contact number , on the confirmation it said any errors or cancellations please phone or email no. Below with in the 20mins i phoned number went to answer phone and email wouldn't go through. The answer phone said not open until 9am Monday morning so I was not able to do anything until then.on Monday morning phoned dead on 9am after getting through I explained the situation about 2 other companies cheaper by £200 + with a bad attitude they were not interested only interested in losing a deposit of £323 moral of the story we will never use jewel in the Crown holidays again.
What Customer Service?
Spent 2 weeks in Marmaris, everything was great until we had a problem. No rep turned up for welcome meeting didn't know how to contact them as wasnt advised by hotel. We sorted problem ourselves, by paying extra just to ensure kids got sleep (long story!) Eventually saw rep 5 days into holiday and apparently she tried to get us money refunded but to no avail, was told to email head office as soon as I got home which I did, and in fairness they did respond within 28 days however ultimately they don't care and now say we should have phoned UK office to resolve problem rather than paying money. They are not even bothered that others in the hotel had identical problems and weren't charged a penny. Lots of fibs told by hotel and reps office to cover backs. Needless to say we will never book with Jewel in the Crown again nor would I recommend them to anyone and I don't think we will ever return to Turkey.
So Unhelofull Attitude Appalling
My daughters flight was cbanged to another airline by Jewel In the Crown she wanted to upgrade luggage but because this company had chartered another flught at the cheapest cost they wouldnt allow her. No apology just cheap appalling service and company
Jewel In The Crown Not Interested In Customer Satisfaction
Spent two weeks in The Sen Apartments in Turunc September 2015. Had several problems with the room concerning curtains hanging off, lack of kitchen ware, no cooking rings or hairdryer (only supplied after we complained), only two decrepit chairs and no table on balcony, view from balcony when sitting was a brick wall and no hot water for 5 days. Complained to rep at time and she took matter up with the manager but only a few of our complaints were resolved. The rep had us complete a complaint form and when we returned to UK we took our complaint up direct with Jewel head office but got no sympathy from their Customer Services. We have travelled with Jewel for at least the last 5 years but due to their total disinterest in our complaints we shall not travel with them again
Treated Appallingly
Went to turkey in July 2015 hotel was filthy waited 9 hours on our room,when we finally got our room it was filthy,rep was no help,complained when we got home just received a letter saying it's more or less our fault for not sitting at the hotel constantly to speak to the rep,will never book threw jewel in the crown again and will be advising others to do the same,save all year for a holiday which was disgusting then be treated like dirt when trying to complain.
Worse Hotel Ever
We went on holiday to marmaris been a few times before but the hotel we stayed at this time was terrible, we read some reviews on the seler hotel and it sounded not bad till we got there, we weren't told it had a 24hour bar and the noise was terrible you couldn't get to sleep with people shouting and dogs barking and when you did fall asleep you were wakened early with the staff shouting to each other, the staff would also eat from plates either before they were brought to the table or after people were finished some guest's noticed this, the cleaners were supposed to come in every day which they did but didn't do much sometimes just moved the blanket around because the stains started one end and ended up the other,when we brought this up with the rep the fact that the staff were begging people for gifts and drink she said she had a word with them but they didn't have complaints dep we could write to just to leave it with her we didn't. The reviews we read on the Seler hotel were good but we didn't read all of them wish we had, a lot of people that go there go all the time to get drunk and stay in the hotel not my idea of a holiday I like to relax not much chance at the Seler hotel.
Shocking Service
Jewel in the Crown offer cheap holidays. That is good.
However, my experience with them was awful. I went to Turkey with my booking party in September and booked a highly recommended hotel at a cheap price. When we got there, there were several problems with the room so we contacted Jewel in the Crown (after three days) and asked to be moved. The rep, incredibly disgruntled at having to come to the hotel, discussed our issues loudly around the pool and then finally withdrew the offer to move hotels. Also making comments such as "This is Turkey" when explaining dirty rooms!!!! That is most certainly not Turkey and appalling comments to make!
When I returned, I contacted Jewel in the Crown regarding my stay, but have been blindsided by a failure to investigate, false statements from reps and a refusal to look into my complaint.
Will never use Jewel in the Crown again! Absolutely disgraceful service.
Turunc - Es Apartments
Do bear in mind that these holidays are cheap and you get what you pay for!
Booked and paid for extra leg room via Onurair (a bit like Turkish Easyjet) - out via Gatwick was OK but no trace of the booking on the way back from Dalaman. Customer Services sorted this out for me and obtained a refund. Well done.
Stayed in the Es Apartments in Turunc. Transfers were quite long. Apartment was OK/adequate considering the overall cost of the holiday. Lots of steps! The resturant was excellent and a better class than the apartment. Nice resort and overall, had a wonderful holiday.
Holiday Rep With A Disgusting Could'nt Care Less Attitude
We have been to Turunc 4 times previously and had a wonderful time but this year we had the rep from hell ! We went to the meet and greet . The rep asked us if we liked the apartment so we were truthful and told her no because there was no warm water for a shower and everyone who walked past our apartment could see in as the curtain up the front window and door was too short and hanging off so her reply was "we'll you did book basic". We paid nearly a thousand pound for this holiday and it was not remotely value for money.The sen apartments we stayed at were well below basic in our opinion . Would recommend that jewel in the crown sack the awful rep and remove the sen apartments from their brochure.

holiday to Marmaris 29th june till 14th july 2013 stayed at Kaya Maris,
hotel supposed to be 4 star not in my book it aint lower 3 star would be more true,
food repetitive, chic
you had to be up about 6am to get a decent sun bed at the pool,
all the staff very nice..
but holiday reps awful,
uncaring and rude to me and others on return transfer bus. which was 50 mins late picking us up and when I complained, I was told,
"the bus broke down we can't magic up a bus, we're not miracle workers,"
thank you jewel in the crown for spoiling the last of my holiday
I won't ever travel with jewel in the crown again
