This credit company is a JOKE!!!!!! DO NOT get caught up with this company!!! Account suspended for being 2 days late? I've never had this type of b/s with my other credit card companies!!!Continental Finance is the WORST COMPANY ever!!! I will definately be paying the account in full and closing this account!! TOTAL RIPOFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They charge us an annual fee even if we returned our cut cards because its been in collection for charge off. We are still paying our annual fee and have not even use the card at all. This is a scheme it needs to be reported to the better business bureau

Ok If You Want To Rebuild Your Credit
This card cannot be compared with cards with better offers from big banks. When I needed to rebuild my credit this card came in handy. They do have high service charges. So if somedoes cannot get any other card and the sole reason is build their credit, this is a good option.

They charge you a maintenance fee of 75 dollars a year, if they receive the payment they do not credit your account for 7 days, then you get a late payment. I probably spent 200 dollar in one year and ended up paying 500 in late fees and maintenance fees. The website is terrible, you have to pay a fee to make a payment on the phone. Do not get this card. Its not made for people rebuilding their credit. They have the worst customer service they all have different versions of what to do to fix any problems with payments or the website.

I called to get a replacement card, and they told me it would cost me another $75 to get a replacement card on top of the $75.00 fee that I paid when I originally opened my account. Since I had lost my card, I did not know my entire account number, so I was not able to set up an online account. I was also unable to make an online payment on a Sunday evening (by my due date), because I didn't have an online account, and because their automated telephone system would not take my payment.

This Card Is The Biggest Rip Off They Charge 18.00
this card is the biggest rip off they charge 18.00 a month for maitance fee (216.00)also 50.00 annual fee also 25.00 every six month line of credit increase (50.00) thats 316.00 infees alone not to talk finance rates

I Applied For A Continental Finance Credit Card In
I applied for a continental finance credit card in airport, never received one. after 2 years when i checked my cresit history, it is there with 150USD charges. called customer service to cancel, they cancelled it, but still i have to pay 150USD. i can't pay over phone or internet. tommorrow i am visiting chase bank to pay this amount. just to maintain my credit score i have to pay this.

My Son Has Had A Continental Finance Card For Sinc
My son has had a Continental Finance card for since 2007. He lost his job and I paid it with his money anyway. But it was 4 days latein june. He had never made a late payment. The person taking the call said they would waive the late charge. They said they have a policy to waive a late charge once a year. Some of the customer service people will tell you every six months. The july 6 bill was $35 more than it was supposed to be. A customer service rep would not take off the late charge and I would coud not pay an extra $35 dollars. I found out the $35 bill turned into $186. I also found out the late charge from june was never waived and that is why the bill was $73 for july 6, when it should have been $35. On july the 8, the late charge for june was reversed, but more late and over limit fees were added to total $186, from a simple $35 to $186. I spoke to people who work ther and nobody will straighten this out ,even though the error occurred in june by fault of the employee who neglected to waive the late charge. I spoke to several managers and even made one tell me why the july 6 bill was $73. Tell me why, I said. He said he had to think about how he would say it.He then admitted the late charge was on the july bill and no one took it off in June. Yet he repeatedly said they give waiver for one late charge a year. I asked him to reverse all the charges that should not have been applied , because of the error from hte employee. He refused to do that. So get rid of this card, I have said to my son.If someone is filing a class action lawsuit, please let me know how to join it.

Continental Finance Credit Says They Waive A Late
Continental Finance Credit says they waive a late fee once a year. My son never paid his card late until he lost his job and it was paid 34 days late and I paid it.The girl there said she woould waive the late fee. So I di not have to pay a late fee. But in July the late fee that was promised to be waived showed up on the july 6 payment day.I exlained to another girl ther that the late fee was promised to be taken off.She wouldn't budge, just decided to give me a lecture about how when she lived with 4 people and they all lost jobs, she still paid her credit cards. This lecture had nothing to do with the FACT that the late charge was showing up on the card and should not be showing up.She refused to take it off the day the payment was due on july 6, but somehow manged to put a reversal of the late charge on july 8, and she did not call me back to tell me she would take off the fee. I could not pay the whole extra $35 dollars, plus the $10.95.plus the regular payment, so I could not pay the bill.Then the added Additional fees amounting to $186 -$70 for regular payments. I called to ask what what the ..? I was then informed they will give late fee waiver once a year ( 2 employees said every six months) But oh well, about that, if you were to believe that, it is the fault of them, oh well.I was waiting for a manger to call back, after an employee said it would be corredcted. NOTHING ever happened , just more phone calls and no correction. ONe manager even said that he did not see where I asked for a waiver, right after he said, the waive one late charge a year.BRILLIANT!!And I asked why then , did the girl who took the june 5 payment not include a late charge, because it e=was paid for days lateand the late charge was applied on the seventh of june. I asked a different manger to tell me what the $73 on the july6 statement included, he said, he would have to think about how to say it to me. I asked again and he admitted , the late charge was not taken off as promised by the Girl taking the payment. He also said they grant a waiver once a year.I asked that guy when was the card issued, and if there was ever a late payment and he said in 2007 and never a late payment . If any one is filing a class action lawsuit , let me know. I want in. These company reps seem to think thaat when they waive a late charge for june , it is okay to charge it in july and make to pay cash for it and then credit you. and if you can't pay the huge july amount ,tough.
There Is Nothing Positive About This Card From Con
There is nothing positive about this card from Continental Finance. I am currently paying $15 in maintenance fees and I am working super hard to get this paid off and closed. I had the card for about 2 years, last month was notified about a credit limit increase, then I was charged $50 for a credit line increase. I contacted them which is hard to do and cancelled the increase (can you imagine being charged to raise your credit limit)
