Wilson Pro Staff Di7 Graphite. (replaces Low-end
Wilson Pro Staff Di7 graphite. (replaces low-end Pine Meadows knock-offs)
Good: Long, straight and accurate. Great value for the price. Shaved several strokes off my game.
Bad: Grips are hard, may have them redone. It's hard to get any spin on the ball, although that's not a big part of my game. The graphite shafts are very light, so if I go too far in my back swing, my hands get ahead and the club head never catches up, leading to a topped ball. I've had to shorten my swing a tiny bit, but still get more distance than my old clubs.
Overall: A great upgrade for a novice golfer. I hit in the low 100's and noticed an improvement right away with the distance and accuracy. I no longer have anxiety about missing my second shot and ruining a good drive.
Note: Wilson has played with the loft on these clubs, lowering each by a couple degrees from the norm, so grab one club lower than you're used to. Once you get used to it, they're great.

Love These Wilson Staff Di7 Clubs! Don't Get Hung
Love these Wilson Staff Di7 clubs! don't get hung up on names, I was going to go for PING's but I am glad I didn't. I tried both and I ended up with Wilson, I also have the Fybrid and a Spine driver these clubs ROCK and I will never trade them in for any thing.

Took 4- 5 rounds to feel the benefit (old clubs were basic) and i needed to change my grip and stance to ensure good shots with the Wilson Staff Di7 irons. My pitching wedge is about 135-140 yards. Could do with a gap wedge/ Gives me lots of confidence and Yes they do go straight.can,t wait for some calm conditions to get an accurate distance with all clubs. Good buy as an improving set. I was a 21 handicap in Jan but am down to 17.consistently in the low- middle eighties. Hope to get down to 12 with these in the summer.
