Time Out After 15 Secs

Exactly the same as previous madasafish customer times out after 15 seconds does not give you a chance to do anything over an hour on the phone, extremely poor service with no resolution. Steer clear of madasafish

Terrible Service And Support.

Using the service of emails only with Madasafish.com, for many years I have had problems with 'time out' even after only 15 SECONDS.

I have ticketed my complaint many times but have not had a satisfactory outcome.

Now it seems impossible to send a 'Ticket'.

Phoning one of the supposed support numbers is an absolute waste of time as I have been told (answer phone) that there is a minimum wait on the line of 45 MINUTES.

What a rip off at 6p per minute plus.

Another problem that has recently appeared is that my emails raise the alarm of:- "Copy failed (Alert) You exceeded your mail quota". Try to find that in the so called support system and get it sorted. NO WAY.

I have signed into the contacts support line only to be signed out without doing anything.

What a farce.

All I require is to be able to receive and send emails without unnecessary alerts and being timed out.

HELP.

Terrible Customer Service

Terrible customer service, we have had so many problems with slow connections and finally gave up! We called to cancel and were on hold for over an hour and passed between 5 different people before we spoke to the correct department. I would definitely recommend chosing another provider after the problems we have had!!

Webhosting Is Now A Joke

It is an absolute joke that madasafish have stopped allowing CGI or PHP scripts on their servers, thus making it very poor for web hosting in my opinion. I will be transferring to another host

They Are History

I've been with Madasafish for years (from the days when they were FreeNetName.)

Things were okay ... until they were absorbed by PlusNet / BT.

Since then, customer service is ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!!

They now take >>45min to answer a customer call....& beware of the 0844 charges!

They are incredibly slow to answer 'tickets'

They have failed to complete my broadband transfer for a recent house move.

Yet they still continue to charge me .....for what??

At this point in time, I have no broadband connection & no guarantee when I'll get it restored.

Well cheesed off!

Truly Awful !!!!

DO NOT sign up with Madasafish!! I repeat DO NOT! They are truly awful. They do not answer the phone or emails. If you want to leave you can't because they won't reply to you. If I could give them zero stars I would.

Don't Bother

Have been with Madasafish for some years now. I get timed out every 10 mins and having to relog on, spentlots of expensive time talking to customer support .Having to relog on every 10 mins is nothing but a pain, have spent a fortune on engineers checking my system. Moved my account to another provider for all personal stuff and now only use Madasafish for any business and to check my spam mail. Certainly needs to improved.

7 Years Of Good Service

I transferred my broadband to Madasafish in 2005 and apart from a couple of short lived outages have had rock solid service throughout that time.

I'm certainly surprised by the comments regarding the customer service and technical support staff as my limited contact with them has always been productive and stress free.

Although I am about to leave them (August 2012) it has nothing to do with their service, more a cost cutting exercise as my phone line is still with BT and that is the cause of the move.

About to swap phone and broadband to one provider and Madasafish couldn't quite get down to the price I want to pay for everything. Will be sorry to leave a good company behind.

Basically A Scam

As already said; this company is little more than an outright scam in my opinion. DO NOT FALL INTO THEIR CLUTCHES!!

I'd been with them for broadband from the outset and was happy to overlook their many failings - until BT took them over and their service became nothing but a joke. Finding that I was constantly being billed for excess usage - 5Gb a month just isn't enough these days - I simply asked them if they could match the 10Gb deal offered by their parent company.

A simple 'Sorry; afraid not' would have been acceptable; but instead, they brusquely told me to ring a premium number and ask for my MAC code. Trap No.1 - no matter how many times you ring, you can't get through; you're left hanging for half an hour and then they just switch you off!! Without that code, you can't leave..!!

That's bad enough; but precisely from the day of asking, my usage rate jumped to three times what it had consistently been for months - over 1 Gb a day!

They charged me all sorts of unwarranted 'breach of contract' fees; completely ignored legal requests under the Companies Act, to block me suing them and even refused to refund the money taken by usage falsification.

Disentangling myself from them cost me over £100 - get involved with them at your peril.

Do Not Sign Up With Madasafish!!!

Madasafish is one of those nasty companies that try to cheat you on every corner. They offer nice deals to lure people in but then, their support is simply non-existent. When I tried canceling their services, it was apparent that they don't have a procedure for this. I've been footballed from one representative to another until one of them sort of said that the service is sort of canceled. They refused to send me a confirmation or anything.

Later on, I found out that they keep charging my account. I have written an official complaint but had no response. They have been charging my account for a few months now. I have contacted my bank and the bank is now trying to contact Madasafish and make them cancel the charges. I have to wait for another month, they said, before their charges can be blocked by the bank.

Don't go there...
