If u wanna have em updated - u could look for em at vendors's webs, like Intel, Ati (AMD now), VIA etc.
I had some troubles with this Fujitsu Siemens Amilo D7830 1 year of use (with HDD), but it was perfectly covered with guarantee (Spain). Actually I own it for 5 years (with RAM, HDD and battery upgraded) and it all goes wery well.

This Is A Last Time I Buy A Fujitsu Siemens Produc
This is a last time I buy a fujitsu siemens product. I went onto the download page to look for drivers for my amilio D7830. Guess what - I think this is the only product in the world where I could not get drivers for my laptop.

It's Not All Bad. The Fujitsu Siemens Amilo D-783
It's not all bad. The Fujitsu Siemens Amilo D-7830 is quite a nice looking laptop with a good size and colourful screen. Annoying problems and glitches though. I couldn't recommend this given the offerings from Dell etc that can be had for half the price.
