Miss Sold Holiday Then Lied To Try And Cover Mistakes
Miss sold holiday.
Booked a twin room honeymoon suite at a 5 star hotel in Rhodes
With supplement came to over £3000 for a week B&B in the shoulder season.
When we arrived , the wrong room had been booked and we needed up with a single room studio.
Nobody interested in trying to sort out the situation, and upon return Hays denied selling us that Suite, and just lied until they couldn’t lie anymore
Now in the hands of ABTA
As Soon As Something Goes Wrong They Are Not So Friendly.
What a shame, all staff so friendly and nice when your in booking your holiday.
When there is a problem, they really don't want to know and we was lied to our faces once we was back off Holiday.
On the Hays website it said if your dissatisfied with your travel experience they offer a no quibble refund guarantee, went into store about this she said I've never heard of that and other staff members shaking there head. it ws literally on the main screen on Hays website, yet nobody knew about it or the company they work for.
due to being lied to our faces we would never step foot in that store or book with Hays again.

Hays website promised a Guaranteed no quibble refund prior to may 2024, I have the screenshots to prove it and an email address to Hays customer relations. Il happily send you those screenshots as of may 2024 they removed that off there website because we used it and they pretended it wasn't on there website but luckily I took screenshots and we were given a full refund.

Pre May2024 it was in black and white on there website. We was refunded in full because we dud not enjoy our holiday experience booked by Hays.
Disappointed
Despite having spend a lot of money with holidays via Hays .. the Customer Service has been appalling no updates regarding flights holiday or excursions booked with them has to arrange everything ourselves with foreign company (who were fantastic)
Will Never Book With Hays Tavel
Poor customer, minimal information about the holiday. They dont tell you what is included in the deal, or go onto depth about what your buying.All they talk about is the price going up to scare you into making the booking. No care for the customer, no cooling off period, I can't believe in todays world travel agents can get away with selling packages and not being held responsible for not giving information.
Worst Holiday And Poor Customer Service To Help Resolve
Horrendous customer service
We booked to go to zante via hays travel and classic holidays provided the accommodation via them. We had the worst all inclusive holiday. We ended up eating out every day for an 11 nights stay which we hadn’t budgeted for. There was so many issues that I tried to resolve while in resort to just be passed from pillar to post by hays and classic collections. This was our first family holiday in 4 years due to covid and also the worst for us all. I had photos and videos for evidence of all the problems to name only a few, the safety in the room, room situated no view, 100’s of stairs to get to restaurants, no entertainment as stated, no food labelled , dirty pools, wasps swarming self serve drinks machine the list goes on. Truly disappointing wouldn’t even give a star to this hotel or company for their poor customer service and not trying to compensate us for all the extra cost or poor quality holiday. Hays completely passed the blame even though it was them who I booked with and who I asked all the questions to about the hotel, destination etc as never been before. Wouldn’t recommend them or classic holidays.

Hays Refused To Give Refund About Balcony
We paid extra for a balcony
On arrival it was on ground floor with table and chairs outside, no balcony.
No Tui present and easily contactable
Told to check in online ourselves 24 hours prior for boarding on route back.
Again via online
Other holiday makers had booked via Tui directly and had access to app we didn't as booked through Hays

i Bought Philippino Pesos From Them Yesterday In
i bought philippino pesos from them yesterday in sunderland and they only had 3000 of them but i couldnt get them anywhere else and it cost me £54. 67 for £44 worth, thats almost 25% extra, avoid go to tui or somewhere else
Excellent Service And Very Helpful And Friendly
Booked our holiday with help and advice from the agent in the Greenock Travel Agents. She listened to what we had to say, made helpful suggestions about suitable destinations and took us through the process without rushing any of it. She explained everything clearly and had such a helpful approach. We were delighted with the service and would use and Recommend Hays Travel to others.

At present we are in Mexico recommended hotel by hays travel it’s a hole we have moved out of the hotel and are currently paying for another hotel DO NOT LISTEN to their advice lots of bull to get their commission we have spent an extra £1200 on top of the holiday price due to their deceit I will be taking further with travel authorities ABTA

Keep every emails (correspondence), take voice recorder when meet face to face.
You can sue the company at small claim.

Visited wallsend branch this morning as regards holiday.staff extremely helpful especially as we needed to navigate passenger locator form.would highly recommend Hays.

We've booked to go to Florida in November and have used Travel Service Floridawho are part of Hays Travel. The price is excellent and Andy Jackson has been brilliant. Just wondering if anyone has used this company before to go to Florida?
Should the travel agent have explained any cancellation terms and have offered Cancellation Insurance prior to my confirming a booking and paying a deposit?
