Very comfortable and smooth with good acceleration when needed. Generally a reassuring rather exciting drive, but it looks good. Build quality is excellent. Boot space is limited, but adequate for the weekly supermarket trip. Space in back is a bit sparse, but how often do cars carry back seat passengers? A spacious, airy cabin is a definite plus. Easy to get in and out of, especially from the front.

Generally the Beetle 1.6 looks good, feels good and is good to drive. Driving it is a much more pleasurable experience than I had in driving my Audi A3 wich was quite noisy. My wife and I vie with each other as to who is to be the driver!

If its a cool retro car your after then the mini is a much better option! This is quite a heavy car and the front tyres need replaced more often than many cars, it is also quite expensive to run with fuel price hikes! it is cramped in the back and has no boot space.
