Similar To Many People I Guess, I Used To Stick To

Similar to many people I guess, I used to stick to going out to the same Indian/s, one night though I walked past by chance and decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did, the food sometimes takes a long time but this is due to the food being cooked freshly, the food is a of a high standard and the sauces which they make are not brightly coloured because it is all made with natrual ingridients which is proved in the eating! The food is delicious : )

The decor is very pretty which incoroporates the heritage of the South Indian staff who own/work there, they are also very welcoming. The staff will make bespoke dishes on request, which is good if you have an arrogant person in your gang of eaters!!

This restaurant though is for people who have a greater appreciation of traditoinal regional Indian food, rather than your average beered-up tikka massala customer. Love this place!!

An Awesome experience, A perfect place to enjoy your meal.

A typical South-Indian food definitely different and good than many Indian Restaurents

we,A bunch of 4 out on south-end to spend a good evening entered 'Keralam'.

we started with poppadoms and some special pickles, pickles are so good that you never wanna miss them again.

the starters jeera chicken, fried crab, prawn poori and onion bhaji. were so good.

The Main course we had the special Meat-Masala-Dosa, Chilli fish with some Lemon rice, Crab Masala with some rice, King prawn Bhoona with some peshawari naan, some side orders of fresh vegetables beetroot and green banana you never wanna miss them.

And we had no space for deserts but definetly the Special Masala Tea.

definetly waiting for my next visit soon!!

Really Delicious South Indian Food - Full Of Inter

Really delicious South Indian food - full of interesting flavours. Much better than the generic, food covered in bright orange sauce that you find at your average curry house.

All dishes I have tried have been good but would especially recommend Mussels fried, Masala Dosai, Kingfish Biriyani and Lamb Masala - yum!

The Keralam Does Delicious South Indian Food, Whic

The Keralam does delicious South Indian food, which is a totally different experience to the usual North Indian/Bangladeshi curries - much more interesting flavours. Recommend the Mussels starter, Masala Dosai and the Kingfish Biriyani. Give it a try...so much nicer than the average curry house!

I Absolutely Love This Place The Food Is Divine, T

I absolutely love this place the food is divine, the waiters can't do enough for you and are always happy to help you with your choices. Try the Vellaya Apam as an alternative to the usual indian breads and the lemon rice is gorgeous. I've never had a bad meal here and have also had two parties of 20+ here too which went without a hitch. Try it you'll not regret it! Oh and it's quite cheap too!

Very Nice Place And Friendly Service, Authentic So

Very nice place and friendly service, authentic Southern Indian. It's not your normal Indian restaurant, the food has more subtle flavours and lots of fresh ingredients; less greasy than normal. Delicious flavours and spices but not hot (they will add extra chillis on request!). Food is cooked to order so please note sometimes the service can be a bit slow sometimes. Try their popadoms though as their homemade pickles / chutneys are delicious and far superior to the usual variety. Meat and fish served plus good range for vegetarians, plus on Sundays a thali selection is available (meat or vegetable). Highly recommended, yum.

Unusual South Indian Cuisine, A Totally Different

Unusual South Indian cuisine, a totally different experience to a normal curry. Go and try some different flavours. Serve meat dishes too, but Kerala is known for fish dishes - also excellent for vegetarians.

Keralam Is A Great Restaurant, We've Been There Nu

Keralam is a great restaurant, we've been there numerous times and used it for take aways. Chutneys are fantastic, we also like Masala Crab, King Fish Biryani and a wonderful dry lamb dish with coconut.
