Absolutely Horrific

I'm absolutely furious and I've had a horrendous experience shopping with Ulla Popkin. I've give them ZERO stars if I could.

Firstly, items that were available to buy on their website, were not charged or sent with an order as apparently they were out of stock, but I was given zero notice of that, and had to contact customer service to find out why I hadn't been charged for or sent the item.

But then those items were magically still in stock on the website and I was able to order separately, costing me shipping again for what should have been in my previous order.

That then set a president that I didn't know if my orders had gone through, and I ended up with two of the same items ordered, and when immediately asking for one to be cancelled, there was a delay in reply to eventually be told it's shipped and would have to return it if I didn't want it, despite I wasn't notified of it actually shipping for another few days.

When they arrived, the clothes them selves are poor quality and shape for the price they are. When I end up returning items (which I ALSO had to pay for return shipping), their customer service was absolutely abysmal and just stopped replying when no refunds were actually issued. I had to go through paypal to get my money back for the items returned.

To add insult to injury when I left a bad review on one item, they then more than halved the price from £85 which I paid IN FULL, to £42.

THEN they started sending me e-mails and letters telling them I OWED them money for the returns! When trying to explain all the above mentioned to them, they didn't even respond to my e-mails and kept sending the same letter and e-mails telling me to pay them or they'll be sending debt collectors. All for £27.95 which was for a returned item!

Never shopping with them again, disgusting garbage service, below average clothes at best and vulturous practices. I've never had such a outrageously bad experience and probably the only company I've ever ended up hating.

Terrible Customer Service And No Complaints Procedure

Over 12 emails/phone calls during 2-3 week period, horrific customer service, unable to resolve a simple issue of sending me a blouse I ordered which is still in stock. After nearly 3 weeks I asked to speak to a manager or complain. They don't have any procedure for this. Instead they stick your complaint in your own record! This happened with my very first order from the company last year but I thought it was a glitch so didn't leave any reviews. I speak to them politely and calmly and get nowhere. Additionally, they send to the wrong address, even if you phone or email to correct this. This experience is detailed by many others on other review sites. Great clothes but not worth the heightened cortisol levels.

Best Fashion Site For Ladies Quality And Class Clothing

I adore the Ulla Popken range - so much so after more than a decade of choosing Ulla first. I have now playfully nick named the range Ulla Crack den.

I simply can not keep away. I am mostly always happy with my purchases which can come in more expensive than the average. However once an item is received and subsequently worn, always worth the cost and more.

I like to make some what of a statement with my clothes, dependant on the occasion a quality 'understatement' or in your face 'overstatement' tend to opt for their more unusual pieces of which they have plenty.

Thankfully have never entered an occasion to find someone else in the same outfit as me. I like to feel a million dollars in my clothes without bearing the price tag and UP provides this feeling every time for me.

There have been many many occasions where compliments are usual.

Thanks Ulla Popken keep on setting those wonderful standards of fashion - as I am always watching for my next purchase

Good Company For Me!

I read these mostly negative reviews, and I want to offer a little different perspective.....I have purchased many items through the Ulla Popken online site, and am generally very happy with everything. However, I have learned to read carefully the type of fabric an item is made of, and the percentages of the fabrics used. I also carefully check the garment's length, and study each view of the item. They are generally very good about providing multiple photos of each item, which is great when buying online! I had one incident where a package was not received, and found their assistance to be courteous and efficient. No real complaints from me, except that their prices for some items seem randomly high. When I find something that I like for an unusually high price, I save it (using the "Save" feature), and wait for an opportunity to get 25 - 30% off plus free shipping, which generally makes the item affordable. I've also discovered over the years that the clothing manufactured in Turkey is by far the highest quality they sell. I do wish the country where an item was manufactured was listed in the item's description. But, overall, I have enjoyed shopping with Ulla Popken and consider myself a satisfied customer. I'm sorry so many have had problems with them - I know that kind of thing is really maddening.

What Customer Service?

I am absolutely shocked over the level of customer service at ULLA POPKEN!If you could call it that. Having been a long term customer I find it appalling that I have been treated in the manner of which I will explain below. During the past 6 months I have ordered a few items of which I did not receive to my Niagara Falls, Canada home.I called customer service and indicated that my order had not arrived and was subsequently given a refund.When I went to order again, I was told that the computer system would not allow me to order. I asked to speak with a Supervisor. I explained to the Supervisor the situation and they indicated that I could not order since my orders to my address were not received at my address. I then asked if they could make sure that the delivery person could get a signature as opposed to leaving at my front door. The supervisor said that that was not possible. Since I had no way to order my white leggings which I wanted, I askede if I could have them sent to my friends address since the issue seemed to be with my address. I tried to put the order through and they would not allow it since it was connected to my name. I then had my friend place the order and when she told them she was doing it for me ( mentioning my name) thee supervisor would not put through the order. I explained that it was not my fault that the order never got to me and that someone may have taken it since it was openly sitting at my front door close to the road. THEY DIDN'T CARE! THEY DIDN'T CARE THAT I AM A LONG TERM CUSTOMER! THEY SIMPLY REFUSED TO CONSIDER THE CHANCE OF A MISTAKE HAPPENING AND "THAT IS TOO BAD FOR ME ATTITUDE" They still keep sending me their catalog which I know longer want. I am hugely disappointed that they handled...especially since it could have been addressed by having the delivery man get a signature for future orders delivered. I am telling all friends and colleagues to stop ordering clothing from ULLA POPKEN!

Miserable Customer Service

Ulla Popken seems determined to drive me away -- and has succeeded. Customer service is miserable. I tried for four weeks to order two items. Ordering by website froze up when it was time to scroll down and choose my state, and the process could not continue beyond that point despite repeated attempts on different days. Ordering by phone was impossible because the 800 number was always busy, again with repeated attempts. I e-mailed customer service with this problem and was met with a demand for details about my operating system and browser, even though I have ordered from numerous websites with never any trouble of this sort. I tried customer service again and received the same response. Both customer service agents offered to take my order personally, and gave me their direct lines, but both lines are answered with voice mail. I left a message with the first rep and she never called me back.

I bought one tunic from Ulla Popken a few years ago and it was good quality, delivered on time. What a disappointment to have this awful experience. Even though the two items I wish to buy are exactly what I want, I am giving up, throwing the Ulla catalog away, and searching for similar items from some more reliable source.

Defect Dress

I ordered a dress from April's catalog. My size is 48. I received 15days later a dress that had a defect.The upper piece of the dress was all wrong size. I had to pay more money to had this dress fixed. I don't recommend this company at all.
