I Bought The R7 Iron Set (4 - Sw) Preowned. I Had
I bought the R7 Iron set (4 - SW) preowned. I had tested a number of new midrange clubs in the £250 - £300 bracket and by chance seen the R-7s waiting to go on display on the preowned stand.
When I took them out they were by far the best of the lot. giving good feel and consistancy which the others seemed to lack. due to weaker wrists I generally require lighter clubs and the R-7 Felt perfect but gave me the distance that I was used to with much heavier clubs.
They look great, feel great and at UNDER £150 pre owned was unbeatable VFM. even at full price I would choose these over competitors.
The R7's are a Brilliant set of irons!

The Taylor Made R7 has a great feel and distance for a medium priced club. Great value for money. I paid £240 for 4-sw new. They play very well and give me much increased distance and accuracy.

Very Hard For A Loyal Ping Iron Player To Transfer
Very hard for a loyal Ping iron player to transfer allegiance but the Taylor made r7 irons tick all the boxes. Fantastic looking club which inspires confidence and leads to great ball strike.
Looking forward to a summer of peppering the pin and cutting handicap from 14 to nearer that elusive ten. The wedges will have to be good to edge out the Ping tour wedges but the ultimate test will be approach shots and chip shots.
