4 Years In , I Will Have To Throw My Pans Out
I loved these pans for the first three years, now they stick much worse than my cast iron ones and I will be throwing them out. Very frustrating and I won’t buy again. The big one is ok for stir fry etc with liquid , but not for frying!

I Will Never Buy One Of These Pans Again.
I have bought 2 of these frying pans and they started sticking at about 5 years or less. The sales rep at the home shows state that the pans are so easy to clean and no maintenance. They wipe the fried cheese out of the pan with just a paper towel. The sales reps also say that if you ever have a problem with a pan it’s easy no problem, just take a picture and send it in to get another one. When you apply for the warranty often it is stated that you did not maintain the frying pan so it is not on warranty. It looks like false advertising and is somewhat of a scheme to me. How do they know it was not well maintained.
If you clean the pan after every use and you used it like any other pan that is much less expensive but last a lot longer how this is not maintaining the pan well. Also, my pans did not go through any extraordinary event like overheating. If overheating is an issue the sales reps should state it when they do their presentation at home shows. They lead you to believe that the pans are indestructible and will perfectly last forever.

Gatrolux Is Garbage
I have a pan that is two years old and everything sticks to it. When I contacted the company about the warranty they said i kept it dirty and therefore the warranty is void. I kept it immaculately clean, did not use olive oil, and never used anything but silicone spatulas. It is garbage. They lie about the warranty to sell you a way overpriced pan.
To prove my point i had the pan professionally cleaned to factory condition and it still was sticking food. they offered for me to pay 95$ plus shipping for a new pan. They called this a residual warranty which is not documented anywhere. Garbage.

Sticking Gastrolux Pans A Mystery
It seems some users find these pans wonderful or find them very disappointing. From the above reviews there seems to be no middle opinions.
I purchased an 11 inch Gastrolux frying pan about 2 years ago for at least $200.00. Within a year, food began to stick and build a dark film on the bottom. Recently, I was so fed up with this awful 'non stick' pan. I resolved to throw it out rather than try to clean it.
In frustration because a chop was stuck to the pan, I took a metal spatula and to my surprise, scraped off some crud then got aggressive with Scotchbrite and removed enough to make it somewhat usable again. This should not be. I have had a $25 ceramic coated fry pan for at least 4 years used regularly several times a week. It does not have a mark on it can fry an egg with no oil.
Don't tell me I have 'overheated' the Gastrolux. There is something fundamentally wrong with this ridiculously expensive pan and I truly regret buying it.

Terrible Experience With The Sticky Pan
I bought the Gastrolux pan 6 months ago and it is already sticky!!!I tried to contact the company for its warranty. Just by taking a look at a picture, the customer service person said it's my fault to over heat it, so there will be no warranty at all. If you think you will test the temperature and know exactly the temperature is below 550F while cooking, maybe you can think of buying a nonsticky pan at 10 times higher price; if not (just as me) ignore it, just buy an ordinary nonsticky pan at much lower price and it will also give you at least 6 months good use!

Bad Quality In My Case
My Friend bought me a Gastrolux Sauté Pan on Oct. 2013 The non_sticky Gastrolux Sauté Pan become sticky after a little more than 1 year of normal cooking. Talked to the sales Rep for the quality of the product and warranty issue, got reply saying it is due to over-heating that caused the damage to the pan. However, the reality is the pan was used for normal cooking only, never been used for more than 500 degrees Fahrenheit as it stated in the maintaince instruction. Obviously, the product has some quality issue. Very disappointment with the product.

Gastrolux Pans = Piece Of Sheeet!
We've bought 5 different pans and all plastic tools also made by Gastrolux for operating (and, of course, "highly recommended" by manufacturer). After 8-10 months 2 of the pans stick everything (two others we'd bought for a present - shame on us!)! Now it's impossible simply to fry eggs even with oil on the pan - they're sticking! Maybe in 90-ies the quality was good... But not in our case.
Only the one pan - stew-pan - is still just like new... because we don't use it. :)

Best Cookware Ever.
I've had a lot of different cookware throughout the years, but nothing beats the Gastrolux quality. My oldest Gastrolux pan is over 10 years and looks like new! Never had any problems and never had anything stick in them.
I can't understand the people saying that they had stuff stick, its bloody impossible if you take care of your pan. I've even started a fire in one of my frying pans after forgetting about it when it contained some oil, that pan is still in mint condition after i cleaned it out and I use it daily for all my cooking.
Sometimes I cook with butter or oil, sometimes without anything and there is no problems either way, the only thing to keep in mind is to always use plastic tools in the pan so you don't damage the pan unnecessarily.
If you are looking for premium cookware that will make you cooking easier and more pleasant Gastrolux is the way to go!
The Best Cookware In The World
I'm so disapoinded when I read bad comment about this product! I've been using Gastrolux for the past 13 years and I just love them! my first pieces is still ike bran new and I'm cooking every day with it!
When I read that people had food built up I just feel like troughing out, How could you have a food built up with this easy to clean cookware? I thing people who had food built I will not eat in their house... its tells lots on how they clean their house! This is not mean that the product is not good, it just mean that the person is not cleaning properly!

Ok, But Not Worth The Price
I bought a 11inch pan from Activeconcepts, Ontario, Canada. It's great in the beginning and started to stick after 18 months. In my case, Activeconcepts totally ignored my emails to request them honoring the 20 year warranty claims. I was completely disappointed. Recently I contacted the salesperson at their new US distributer in Georgia and got the same answer that loss of non-stick property is due to food buildup, therefore my failure to maintain it properly. So the 20 year warranty claim is a joke. I won't buy from them again.
Buying a pan that is over 300 dollars should not be akin to penance. "Too bad for you"?
By way of demonstrating how conflicting information can mess with the process: I began to notice a brownish build up, despite the fact that I was "maintaining" it properly. I took it to the restaurant supply store where I purchased it and was taught how to clean it "properly". It involved putting it on a high heat burner. How hot? I don't know. It was smoking hot. And then he shocked the surface with cold water... and demonstrated the hidden oils that were coming to the surface. A little bit of soap and some serious scrubbing with a plastic scouring pad and voila, it was clean. Sort of. Once dry, that funny color came back.
Now my question is this. Did he make the surface go to over 500 degrees? If so, well great. Now it's totally beyond warranty claims?
Sorry, but that price is too high for something that, ultimately, is more fragile than the claims being made. I am not impressed. And I keep a clean and fastidious kitchen.
Any product that it's not maintein propely will not be under warranty! I have been used Gastrolux for the past 13 years and I still have my first pieces in perfectly condition, like it brand new! To bad for you you didn't kept it clean.
