You can’t fool all the people all the time - that’s why they’re in liquidation. Shoulf have been closed down by trading standards long ago.

Liquidation
Drive 24-7 is in Liquidation, however the breakdown number is still active and it would seem that assistance will be provided to Service Agreement Holders until the policy expires. I have changed my car and this can not be added to the agreement so I will need to find a new service provider.
Can't Access Their Website To Make Changes
Tried for 1 hour to log onto their website but not possible to make changes due to error 404
however the breakdown phone number is working so at least for one of my cars I would be able to take up the service I pay for
will have to try again tomorrow to log onto their website to make changes to second car, it should not be so difficult

Cost Is Reasonable But When I Called Out An Engine
Cost is reasonable but when I called out an engineer his response time was excessive and his attitude not the best.

Helpful, Arrive Earlier Than Expected, Sorted
I have only needed assistance a couple of times for minor issues, but I was impressed with the speed with which I was visited and the helpful friendly staff who attended. The fact that home start is included is a bonus as this is where things can go wrong- eg a flat battery after a holiday, but nevertheless stressful. So far not needed anything major! Hope it stays that way!
Its easy to renew your policy and a great price too.

Good Value For Money
Drive 24-7 offers a comprehensive break down cover for U.K. and European travel. Everything is covered that you would expect from any big brand recoverers , but at a fraction of the cost.

Efficient Reasonably Priced And Easy
I have been impressed with Drive 24/7. It was very easy to do on line and the yearly cost is v reasonable. It was also simple to swap a new car onto it and renew for another year. They didn't try to increase the cost after one year either , instead giving me a loyalty bonus which was very welcome. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Thank you 24/7
Q&A
Can anybody tell me where to find contact numbers for either Drive 24/7 or emergency assist? I'm in the same situation as a lot if other people by the looks of it, paid my money in September then got told they would refund me as there is a dispute between the two companies. No refund and no breakdown cover!
The supplier Emergency Assist Ltd should have sent you a letter giving you insight into what exactly has happened. It would also have the name of the owner/direct of Drive 24-7, along with his email and phone number. I have tried contacting him dozens and dozens of times but you will not get through. He ignores his emails and is mailbox is full. I have now opened up a claims and dispute for my refund with my bank who are more than happy to help. I would give this a try.
Is 24/7 actually still a going concern? I have tried to phone numerous times with no answer, and email to admin 24/7 not replied to.
I was with these up until October of this year 2017, purely an on line business (to keep costs down) I emailed them with a couple of questions regarding the increase in price when I had already had a cheaper renewal price from them, I didnt get a proper answer other than the price increase was necessary, I didnt renew as a matter of principle because I was promised the cheaper renewal by email from them, I went elsewhere and got the same cover slightly cheaper. They do take a long time to answer mails but once you are with them its ALL done on line including managing your account and documents, my account is still open Ive just accessed it so I would assume they are still in business, they are pretty cheap, I waited around 30 mins when I last used them about 11 months ago, although I can vouch that you can get the same cover elsewhere if you shop around!!! but on another note 24/7 is easy to manage on line!!
This question isn’t about breakdown cover It’s about the website, anybody else having trouble accessing the website?
No they’ve not answered my emails, doesn’t look good at sll
I have renewed my Breakdown cover for the coming year, is it then necessary to print all the policy information again?
No just right click on your mouse Save to Copy to, Then say new mail Then add your own name to folder ie breakdown service 2017 press on its saved
I spoke today to my break down cover and said I was looking at drive 24/7, gave them the quote that 24/7 was asking, and the reply was that is only 1 call out a year. What if I break down 3 times?
You pay for it?? 1 call means exactly that 1 call!!!!!!
unless you have an excess where you pay when you call an excess, really you need a bit more protection than just 1 call out, check others some give 3 or 4 call outs just shop around!!! even new cars can breakdown so 1 call out is not enough protection for anybody really i dont think!!!
If I have a breakdown and require assistance will I have to pay at the time, in person or will Drive 24/7 take care of those fee's?
There is no charge for a call out or even a Tow to garage if it cant be fixed on the road. So if you have a flat battery. blowout and as long as you have a spare in good repair you will pay nothing. But if parts are needed ie Bulbs, etc You will be charged. So first one hours labour is free. Please read your Small print and all is explained. With the New 2017 service you can make many call outs without extra charge, Apart from parts again
Hope this helps then please ask
Ps Make sure you write details of your car make etc and above all have the number of Breakdown tel number on a piece of paper in your glove box With you breakdown members number. But dont worry you may never need them. Happy Motoring
They say 24/7 I read one of their reviews which stated that they would not come out on a Sunday and would charge extra. Could you tell me if this is true? I am disabled and need to know that I have cover at all times.
This is not true, You may find that being a weekend you may have to wait a bit longer ie Easter, Christmas Holidays, But thats to be expected With the new 2017 cover you are not resticted to how many call outs you have. Just make sure you have your details Membership number in your glove tray and all should be well.
Hope this helps H
I have a campervan. Will I still be covered?
Yes feel sure they will as they come out to car towing a caravan. Anyway dont be shy just give them a call up.H
I am thinking of getting breakdown/recovery insurance for UK and EU however I don't have a full service history on my car. It is a Hyundai getz 06. What is the position regarding service records please?
24/7 cover car,s of all ages. Used to have Hyundai Reliable . Most people dont keep receipts I must admit I do Helps when you are selling. 24/7 are one of the Best breakdowns going . This is my fourth year with them. Plus dis year they dont have a limit on breakdowns H
