This Must Be The Least Used Airport In The World!
Having spent millions building a new terminal, why, when I passed yesterday, were there only TWO 'planes visible? Ryanair have ceased their operation to Lanzarote from November. I have read an article online saying they have many new routes to Lanzarote from various European airports, so why drop Bournemouth? Could the landing fees be prohibitive? What is going on? Surely there should be lots of new routes operating for the residents of Hampshire and Dorset, not less. We need an immediate enquiry as to why this has happened and what the purpose of building a new terminal was???????????

Money Making Racket, Poor Quality
Rip off drop off charges, poor public transport connection and no pedestrian access must make this one of the least customer friendly airports in the world. Inside the large departure area (you can't call it a lounge) there are rows of uncomfortable seating. The restaurant is terrible and there are no nice coffee shops so take your own food. I use it only because it's local and flights are generally on time, I'd hate to be delayed there for long.

This Airport Is Basically A Really Big Port-a-cabi
This airport is basically a really big port-a-cabin. It was very clean, we checked in nice and early. There are only about two shops there and one restaurant, which was the only disappointing bit. We were on a morning flight so I was very hungry. I saw another couple get egg on toast, which looked OK, so went for the full fry up. It was £4.99 for which you got, 1 egg not cooked, 1 green piece of bacon, a fatty sausage and a teaspoon of beans. Not only that, you had to pay an extra £2 for 2 slices of toast!
It was appalling. Bar the food, the seats aren't very comfy but you won't be waiting around for long. So it's not too much of a problem. Just for the ease of use I would definitely fly from there again, I just won't eat.
