Avios 20,000 Mile Promotion Impossible To Get!!!!!!
Applied for a card via Quidco - sent me to the wrong website so ending up spending £500 per month for 3 months on the wrong card (visa not Amex!)
Then applied in Wife's name directly missed spending around £100 in the first billing month - the clock is ticking from when you apply NOT when the Card / Pin arrives!
LTSB QUIDCO AVIOS Totally unsympathetic! Avoid!
 I applied for the Duo cards under the 15000 points bonus on the AMEX card. As the qualifying dates & start date we're not clear I called Lloyd's. The guy told me that due to the multitude of start dates what they did was to calculate the AVERAGE spend over the first 3 months. In the first 3 months I spent around £2500 and each monthly statement was over £600. With these 2 facts I had clearly qualified for the bonus-however not in Lloyd's eyes. I was told that I hadn't qualified on 2 counts, firstly because I had to apply via the Avios website and not Lloyd's. Secondly I hadn't spent the minimum £500 pm. I explained to Lloyd's that it was them who sent me the promotion and it was them who offered it and it was completed on there website-no mention of Avios website. The guy told me that it couldn't have been Lloyd's website as they were not running this promotion at the time. (If this was the case then in there eyes I must have applied on the Avios website). When I told him that I had a PDF copy of the original offer he soon changed his tune and admitted there mistakes. It was handed to Lloyd's complaints dept. They called me back, accepted that I had been fed incorrect information by there people however still will not honour the offer. Needless to say I am very angry and am looking to take this matter further. Any suggestions?

Lloyds Duo Card. Avios Pointless. Online Banking Awful
Avios used to be quite an exciting concept but is now a waste of time (but thats avios not lloyds)
My main point is this credit card online. Its impossible to keep track of transactions as they dont update. im alomst at the end of 2 weeks to wait for transactions to be shown from tesco, holiday in, asda..These are businesses that claim money everyday so no excuses really. This is a very regular occurence. The transactions should be there. Ive called and called and the best piece of rubbish information ive had from customer services is,,,,"you are using the card to much and its struggling to keep up with the transactions you are making".hysterical...i actually said to the guy.,.."that statement you just made is rediculous"
On the phone now they just tell me to call to get my balance, which costs me from my mobile and is inconveniant. If you dont use the card in a certain amount of time you lose all the airmiles youve saved. So i have gone with Tesco..."everyone, tesco clubcard points are better than airmiles and the online bnking is very good and simple"
Im at the point now where i will use my lloyds card to purchase a can of coke or a packet of buscuits every now and again to keep my airmiles from disapearing. DO NOT USE LLOYDS DUO CREDIT CARD ITS RUBBISH. IN FACT DO NOT USE LLOYDS AT ALL

Misleading With The Avios Miles
They say you get 15000 airmiles on Avios. That's true, what they don't tell you is you do you get a free flight to some European destination for free BUT you must buy the full package hotel+flight; the hotels are so expensive it is not worth it, so in the end I wasn't able to use the 15000 bonus, unless I was willing to pay £150 a day for the hotel, I rang AVIOS, they didn't make any effort to reach out to fix this... I said I was willing to book the hotel they proposed for just 2 nights, but nothing. I should have gone back to LOOYDSTSB and lodge a proper complaint for misleading new custemer.
Blocked Blocked And Blocked Again.
I travel yearly with my wife to Malaysia where her family live. It does not matter if i pre-warn Lloyds the cards are always blocked without fail when i try to make my first purchase.
THen as with other users experiences i have to make lengthy expensive phone calls so i can eventually get them working again.
Normally only to have them cancelled again in a few days time.
Never use again!!!

Lloyds Tsb Airmiles Duo. Worst Expereience With A
Lloyds TSB Airmiles Duo. Worst expereience with a credit card ever. I have had the same experience as other reviewers with the card being blocked by 'fraud detection' even after notifying the issuer tha I am travelling abroad. This is embarrasing and inconvenient, usually involving lengthy calls to the overseas number by mobile phone to sort the mess out. Recently, I tried to use the card in Europe and found that EFTPOS card readers in Holland and Belgium cannot read the chip. As a result, I was left unable to pay for hotel acommodation. The call centre do not seem to prioritise calls to the overseas contact number and was busy with "high volumes of calls" even on a Sunday afternoon. I will not be leaving home with this card again. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

Used At Christmas 2010 For Just Over £200, N
Used at Christmas 2010 for just over £200, no payments requests received until yesterday when I received notice from the payment centre saying i had not paid my bill. On checking they had my address as Marbella, United Kingdom when it should be Spain. Four lengthy calls later after being cut off from India twice (the person was hardly English speaking) I rang UK and explained all over again, I was asked to go into a branch to pay - ugh so I have to go to UK to pay my credit card? After sheer frustration I have paid through my bank, they still haven't grasped that I don't live in the UK. I have been a member since 1980 but I've had enough - if you want to keep your sanity don't touch them with a barge pole unless you want to order a curry!!

Only Had One A Few Weeks. When I Activated, I Was
Only had one a few weeks. When I activated, I was asked whether I wanted to set up a D/D. I said yes, as I plan to pay off in full each month and incur no interest. I just want the Airmiles.
I called today as I hadn't had my statement (apparently 'in the post'), and checked that the d/d was set up to pay it off. "Oh - No, there's nothing on there. I gave her the date and name of person who activated the card and supposedly set up the D/D - but "it's not showing on the system".
Had I not happened to call up, I presume I would have been charged the late payment charge, plus interest. What a bunch of jokers. I kind of knew this might happen, as I find Lloyds pretty average at the best of times, but the current offer is too good to ignore.
I will now have to pay this one off manually before month end, and check (again!!) next month that the D/D has actually been set up. Poor show, Lloyds.

Have Had These Cards For Years, Bank With Lloyds F
Have had these cards for years, bank with LLoyds for business and personal and should really move but have established a relationship over the years. These cards get declined automatically REGULARLY, i have had several embarrassing and potentially disastrous experiences. Last month my wife and i went to New York, it was a 40th birthday treat and i promised her a new bag whilst there. Having experienced LLoyds randon card stopping i called before went, only to be told on the auto answering system that i didnt need to inform them if i was going abroad. The first day there we went to buy my wife her present, it took ages to choose but eventually she decided and when i handed the card over for payment it declined. I actually got the store to call Lloyds and they said it was a fraud prevention check and that it woulnt happen again. The next day i went to withdraw cash with my Lloys debit card....declined....fraud prevention.....the next day back to my credit card and a pair of $40 dollar jeans......declined......fraud......the last two declines i had to get lifted by calling on my mobile and i was billed over £30 for the call. This has happened in the UK in supermarkets and at petrol stations, it happens every 2-3 month's. I have now switched to a Barclaycard.

Lloyds Regularly Automatically Block These Cards F
Lloyds regularly automatically block these cards for no reason at all, so you have to phone up and go through the whole securtiy thing, after which they say they will update the card and make it sound as if they have done you a favour. It is inconvenient, embarrassing and very poor customer service. AVOID.
