Avoid - Very Disapointing - Shop Around!!!
My parents purchsed the Silver Cross 3D pram as a present for my first born (he is four weeks old). I chose the pram as came in the limited edition 'Henley' pinstripe material and looked lovely....my compliments stop there!! I am so upset that my parents paid out their good money for this pram as I do not want to use it and am looking for a replacement. The car seat (need use of seatbelt) is bulky, liner did not fit my baby even as a newborn, carry cot in sepaeate pieces so a right pain when transporting it, baby lies with head lower than knee height, need cover on carrycot as liner is white, hood creeks and clunky when moved, very heavy unit, hardly fits in the boot of my car (not a small car) - just terrible!!!!!!!!!!! I had a silver cross pram as a baby but appears things do change, quality gone considerably down hill - please take advice from these reviews and avoid!!

Waste Of Money
I bought this pushchair when i was pregnant with my first child...my advise to any new mum is when choosing a pushchair have a really good think about what will fit in best with you life and try them out before you buy to get a feel for weight ect... that said i bought this pushchair as i liked the look of it and thought id be saving money as it was a 2 in1 also thought silvercross were a good make... not so...after 3 weeks of use it stopped folding properly, its large and cumbersome and VERY heavy. Its hard to push and dont even think about pushing it with 1 hand !! The brakes click off all the time and 1 day it rolled into the road as a result of this.. because of the folding issues the chassiss actually weakens very quickly and eventually buckles and its also top heavy so it easily topoles over!! As for the shopping basket...COMPLETE waste of time its big enough but you cant actually get anything into it! And did i mention how heavy it was? yes i did but feel this needs to be repeated as if you have had a c section not good basically i hate this pram i was very dissapointd and have now got a babystyle oyster which i love.
I feel this pram has safety issues and i have read alot of reviews that all say the same so its not just me. beware of this product.!! i could go carry on with the faults it has bit wont as it would take to long .

I Think A Cheap Mothercare £25 Pushchair Wou
I think a cheap mothercare £25 pushchair would do a better job than this the pram section lasted around 2 week the pushchair is awful I wouldnt like to be my baby it feels awful just pushing it. After 6 month the pram would not fold up, the wheels started to lock onto kerbs which is awful when trying to cross a busy road. Its really heavy and isnt easy to push at all. The foot muff is dangerous it just slides around I put my baby in the other day and she nearly fell out of the thing as you have to pull the foot muff up so there is some comfort. The car seat ha what a joke ive never been able to pick it up since i came out of hospital with my baby im 20 year old and dont struggle with many things but that is ridiculous. I would never buy another silver cross pram/pushchair again after this one it has really put me off.
strap your child in and they will not fall out its logic to strap then in.

The 3d Pram System From Silvercross Was The Bigges
The 3D Pram system from silvercross was the biggest waste of money, the only thing i have had good use out of is the car seat but even that is heavy and not easy to lug around, even just from house to car :( Pram is way to small for any baby older than a few weeks which is poinless as babys still to small for pushchair. Poppers difficult to attach and cant be pushed around without pram cover in hot weather as lining is white. Pushchair seat is made of a fabric that your child slides down and the basic harness doesnt seem to fit childs body correctly. Very difficult to fold down and heavy to lift in and out of boot of car despite being reasonably compact. Also fells very 'rickety' and unstable. Also very difficult to steer when a bigger child is in it. OVERALL DO NOT BUY THE 3D PRAM SYSTEM!!!!!

I Would Advise Everyone To Stay Away From The Silv
i would advise everyone to stay away from the silvercross 3d travelsystem.its expensive to buy and 3 of my friends and myself have had nothing but bother with it.you dont get much use out of the pram bit.my daughter was only 3months when she got to big for it.as she was to small to go into the buggy part and the fact u cant have them in the car seat for more than 4 hours ment i had to buy a second buggy.(advice to anyone that hasnt had a baby before try and get someone that has a baby to go with you because when u push the buggys around the shop they feel great how ever its a different story when you have your baby shopping etc, they can become very heavy plus very ard to push)i dont use this buggy anymore and after paying 350pound for it plus 100 for the car seat iv only used it about 20 times in 1year and a half and in that time its been sent back 3 times to get fixed.i would have expected better from silvercross.my 2nd buggy cost40pound and it is great just wish i didnt waste all that money now.ope this helps.x x
Dont suppose you have the waterproof cover for this pram and want to sell it to me do you? Gemz reply to emmasmith648(at)hotmail(dot)com

Overall I Was Disappointed With This Pram/pushchai
Overall I was disappointed with this pram/pushchair. It is a model that does not live up to its Silver Cross name. I first bought it at Mothercare for my first child and it was extremely hard to open out. We struggled for 6 months and then bought a Maclaren as a run around. Mothercare then lost the pushchair while it was being repaired and we ended up getting a brand new one. The new one was much better.
PROS: Smart looking appearance, very easy to move around with swivle wheels, adjustable handle height, Pushchair mode is sturdy with front bar across
CONS: Not the easiest to put up, Pram mode only big enough up until 3 - 4 months for average size baby, big and heavy will fit just about in a Nissan Micra Boot if nothing else is in it! Apron poppers not easy to do up, Not much room for shopping

Toys R Us Had A Completley Useless Customer Servic
Toys R Us had a completley useless customer service. I purchased my pram/car seat in April 2009 as it was a very good price at £350 considering we looked at many different prams including the Quinny which where very expensive but looking back you get what you paid for.
My daughter was born in June 2009 and have only ever used the pram with the car seat attached not in the carrycot as I wasn't keen on it but after only 6 weeks use the safety clips at the bottom beside the wheels have now broken causing the chassis to go out of line. I took it back to Toys R Us and spoke to the manager who would not back down in offering me a refund. She didn't even offer me a replacement but to only send it to Silver Cross direct for repair and to see if a manufacturing fault is the cause. Now how am I supposed to get about for 2 weeks without a pram with a newborn baby as the car seat is way too heavy with my daughter in it and she is only 10lbs.
I was offered a used pram from them for a child aged 6mths+ my duaghter is 6 weeks!!! If it comes back not a manufacturing fault then no refund for me as they say it is down to putting it up/down wrong. You cant put it up/down wrong.
A pram that has to be repair after 6 weeks use and will prob need fixing again.
Positives about the pram is that it's very comfy for baby as well padded and it's nice looking and good to push.
Now I have no pram for 2 weeks and stuck!!!!
im in the same situation what happen did they fix it did you get e new 1 etc

Do Not Buy The Silver Cross 3d!!!! Everything On I
DO NOT BUY THE SILVER CROSS 3D!!!! Everything on it is awkard and breaks! The Apron would not attach to the very heavy pram, as the poppers wouldn't fasten so we took it back to Toys R Us and were told it was a bad batch and were given a replacement apron which still doesn't fit. My son got too big for the pram in only a few weeks. The car seat is extremely heavy and the hood keeps coming off whenever i lift the handle. The fasteners on the buggy are too hard to clip in. Now the bolt keeping my hood on the buggy has come off on one side. My son is only 4 months old and this is the biggest heap of rubbish i have ever bought!!! I want my money back!

The Silver Cross 3d - Black Is Sturdy And Great Th
The Silver Cross 3D - Black is sturdy and great that it converts from flat pushchair for a small baby into a big buggy. My son is big, other buggies are too small. However its now broken, and I put in my own repair, but I am pretty unsatisfied that its breaking apart after only 2 years.
