We Visited Today And We Were Very Pleased With The
We visited today and we were very pleased with the quality and value of the food. It was a breath of fresh air to find a truely child friendly place to eat, after a week of difficulties out and about with our two little ones.
Crayons for drawing on the table cloths is a great idea, which kept our eldest amused. The owner was friendly, but not uncomfortably so. We did not feel rushed and we were made to feel welcome at all times.
It was not busy when we visited at lunch, but neither was Polperro despite the good weather. Possibly the location is not as favourable as it is for other establishments in Polperro, which are closer to the shops and through roads. I would recommend for families.

treble cafe was extremely very good valve and friendly atmosphere. we really enjoyed the food and yes we will come back oneday. i would recommend it to my friends and neighbours. i thought the sheet music was really good on the ceiling. i did like my food and john liked his. what would i like to know about the purchase was it due good choice in menu and had a bit more salads etc. i recommend it to a friend. i give 5 rating

To Summarise, The Food Was Very Nice But Atmospher
To summarise, the food was very nice but atmosphere overshadowed the food quality. We visit Polperro every year and would certainly not return to this restaurant again. The proprietor seemed to be rushing us as he wanted to close early and we were the only customers still there. I wouldn't mind but it was only just gone 10pm on a Friday night in June, nearly peak season.
I disagree with this review because... doesn't sound like the same place, romantic/couples ? its family through and through. most nights the kitchen closes at 9pm ( same as most places ) so the place closing at half ten is more than reasonable.

The 'dogs Welcome' Sign Got Us Through The Door At
The 'dogs welcome' sign got us through the door at the Treble Cafe in Polperro, and then it just kept getting better. They had a high chair, catered for both diabetic and gluten free diets, and offered large portions at very reasonable prices, in tasteful surroundings with friendly service. Brilliant!! We'll be eating there every chance we get.
