I've been using Vyke for 3 years now. I usually call Poland, and now they've reduced the rates from 4p to 2p per minute to mobiles. The call quality is always perfect and you can even send SMS to all countries for only 3p! How good is that? I used calling cards before, but once I got my smartphone I discovered the convenience of using a VoIP app for calls abroad. I'd highly recommend Vyke to everybody with a smartphone and friends&family abroad :)

I am using this software from last 2 week and i am pretty happy with their service and i am going to buy their service for 1 month. I need some more voice clarity on this software some time its just hanged and the other person is not able to hear my voice. over all this software is good.

I recently got Scammed by VYKE.

I was persuaded by the rates they advertised as I read a Ful page ad on the Metro Newspaper.

I downloaded the app on my IPhone the App seemed cool and the idea appealed to me, so I decided to try it so I purchased credit for $10 dollars. I made 1 international phone call for 5 minutes and it worked relatively well, however 6 hours later I tried to use the service again and it would not let me call anywhere. I tried to contact them via phone but was unable to find a number. I finally had to contact the support system via e-mail 7 times and NEVER heard back from them. Since then I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company and notified the State Attorney General of the fact that this company seems to be conducting fraudulent transaction under False Advertiement.

I my humble opinion, I would NOT EVER Recommend this service, mainly because of the utter LACK of Customer service and blith disregard for customer satisfaction.

You can tell that it is not headquatered in the US because that kind of business behavior would not stand a second in the US (Where I reside)

The quality of the service was average but that means nothing if at the moment you have an issue nobody responds and there seems to be no accountability.

I am SURE there MUST be thousands of desatisfied customers who might have had a similar experience, but this guys hav a paid staff to just post positivew reviews to rank them as a good service on the search engines.

DO NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL

There seem to be some 'fake' reports as no user would give a 5* rating for this service.

The service is among the cheapest and the website has a nice interface. Though I believe this used to be a Swedish service, it now seems to be ran entirely from India, at least from the support side. This also means you will have to be VERY patient to get an answer.

There are issues with payments and getting a connection as well. I do recommend to have at least one other provider available in case Vyke fails to connect. It doesn't matter if you try a couple of times. If the connection is out you will simply hear nothing, though the other side is connected.

I have had more frustrations than plain successes with this service. I am now switching to Rebtel.com. They offer some smart solutions like Skype connect, callback numbers and mobile solutions for a wider range than Vyke does. Prices are slightly higher though.

Again, an average score on Vyke I would believe, but scoring a 5* for this service can only be based on fake reports.

I actually have been using this service quite some time, with variable success. Most problems are due to the fact the payment system is far from flawless. Often payments do not get through etc.. The helpdesk picks the problem up quickly, but it seems they are not very hard working and it can be pending for days.

Secondly, it is not always possible to get a connection and sound quality is quite average. The connection is also prone to interruptions and disconnections.

LAst but not least, Vyke does not offer mobile solutions for all phones. My previous phone, a Nokia N79 was not supported though on the market for years and quite similar to the N82 which was supported. Now I have an Android phone, opensource so easy for development, but again no app yet.

All in all, I think this is defenitely not worth spending too much time and money on.

Vyke is a very good service and cheap, a must for your mobile phone when roaming with your mobile with wifi.

Good connection,sound quality and support very helpful. Also saved me a small fortune on call costs. Would recommend !!

their charges are not what they seem.They say between what they call the VYKE ZONE its 4 cents a minute, don't believe it!45 secs cost me 20p - even at the standard rate of 2p a minute I can't add that one up, and all my calls are like that.I loaded £10 and they have a policy of no refund! They won't get anymore from me.Wrote to them about it and 10 days later still no reply.Bargepole and touch spring to mind

Can be a winner, but need to sort out all unnecessary issues and Support. Needs to run a much tighter ship to succeed in this market. Pricing cheaper overall, but operation appears to me to be sloppy and lazy compared to other providers like Truphone, Localphone etc.No problem that cannot be resolved - if Vyke has the desire and will,Can be very useful, but you need lots of patience and tolerance

I bought £10 worth of calls with Vyke VOIP for use on my laptop and i am loving the service. it's so easy to use! i call my mates up and they can all hear me fine, even though I'm using an old mic connected to a useless pair of headphones. all you do for a P.C is download the program which takes seconds and enter the pin the site gives you. This is such a clever program and so far i have no regrets. i have saved a fortune buying this. It is a lot cheaper then any other mobile network provider and possibly landline providers.
