Good All In One And Very Useful Tool
This tool is just awesome. Such a great invention. Good all in one tool. Easy to use and we can carry it in purse so it is travel friendly. Working absolutely fine. It contain a knife, scissors, filer, pliers, and many more. All the tools are very useful.
Great Pocket Knife
This is the ideal outdoor gadget to have available. Lighter and less expensive than the Swiss Champ since it comes with only the essentials: a huge knife, a saw, a file, scissors, pliers, and the rest. You will never be unhappy you bought this knife. I use all of the tools on this knife, but my favorites are the pliers, file, and saw.

It Is Working Just Fine
I received the original item in an original box. This is my second Swiss Knife. There is nothing wrong with the first one. It is working just fine even after 35 years. The tools of the new one are perfectly functional and there were no scratches on the body. I do wish that this model had the magnifying glass which is so useful. This is lifetime item and I intend to keep this new for a gift to a deserving person.

Very Poor Service.
I have had a Swiss army knife for over 15 years. One of the screw driver blades snapped off when tightening a screw. I looked on Victorinox website as they are the only UK service centre for the Swiss Army Knife products sold in the UK? The knife comes with a lifetime Guarantee against defects in material etc.
The tip of the blade snapped easily, so can only put this down to defective materials as it has never happened to me with ordinary screw drivers before?? So, I sent the knife by recorded delivery on 15th August 2016, back to the Victorinox service centre in Leicester for repair/replacement?
Five weeks have passed, and no sign of the knife so I called Victorinox to see what was happening? I was told the knife had only just been sent to Switzerland yesterday (21st September 2016??) and informed that it could take up to eight further weeks before it is sent back to me?
I questioned as to why it had been with Victorinox for nearly five weeks and that they had only just sent it on? They apologised for the delay couldn't give a reason and told me I'm looking at end of November now for return?
To say I am completely dissatisfied is this answer and level of service is an understatement!!! I wonder what the Swiss Army Knife company would say if they knew their one and only agent in the UK were treating their customers this way? Perhaps I time for change??
This level of service is very poor indeed, Victorinox need a kick up the backside I think, as I'm sure people who are considering purchasing a swiss army knife would be put off by their approach to after sales service.
Don't get me wrong, the Swiss Army Knife is a great product and well made, but the service in the UK needs questioning!

I Have The Victorinox Climber And The Reason I Onl
I have the victorinox climber and the reason i only gave it a 4 is because i havent used it yet well only for small jobs ive split wood with it (not much) with a batton which is a very hard task for a folder and it performed well it is very well built and feels very solid , touch the blade up abit and you can get it very very sharp at the moment im not using mine because i already have a edc knife and various other folders but from the small test i did it seems very good , victorinox are known for there quality and so far i think its a very good and solid knife.

Comprising: (in A 6 Layer Formation) Large Knife B
Comprising: (in a 6 Layer formation) Large Knife Blade, Small Knife Blade, Corkscrew, Can Opener, Small Screwdriver, Bottle Opener, Large Screwdriver, Wire Stripper, Reamer, Puncher & Sewing Eye, Scissors, Hook, Wood Saw, Nail File & Nail Cleaner, Metal Saw & File, Fine Screwdriver, Chisel, Pliers & Wire Cutters, Keyring, Tweezers, and finally a Toothpick!!
This tool is outstanding value for money! Mine came in a belt pouch for about £30. It's not too big and bulky like some of the knives you can get, but it's got the lot for your camping trip. Whatever I have needed, it's been there for me.
The warranty covers the knife for all conceivable damage that is incurred, as long as it wasn't misused / poor maintenance related.
That is the only thing here. It's fair to say that a well oiled machine runs like, well, a well oiled machine. This is also true of the Swiss Army knife. It must be correctly cleaned and oiled after each intensive use (i.e after a weeks worth of camping) to keep it in good shape. This can be a time consuming job, but well worth the investment. My tool has been with me nearly 5 years I think, and it's never been without its use!
