They are threatening my 17 year old with debt collection agency's for £160,
being 17 and not an apprentice solicitor he just cancelled payments I have explained
to and apologized for my sons actions regarding this but as you can imagine all
Express Insurance Services want to do is destroy his credibility for obtaining credit in the

Express insurance was the most competitive quote I got. Insurance is expensive enough without having to over pay for it. I got my quote from compare the market and this search site brought the cheapest quote too.

I wanted to cancel my insurance policy with Express 6 months in because I had purchased a new motorcycle and had received better quotes than Express had given me. I phoned to cancel my policy with Express and they said I would get a phone call later that day. 2 days after, I decided to call again, no response. Across a 10 day period I was phoning Express frantically trying to cancel my insurance policy because I no longer use my old moped. I called over 12 times, it was either no response or I had to wait in a queue. Nobody got back to me. Just after Christmas, I got a letter from Close Brothers saying I owe them £142. This makes no sense because since then I had received a letter from Express breaking down my policy and giving me a final cancellation price, which is £30 (The same price it said in my T&C). I am now seeking advice from an ombudsman regarding the prices Close Brothers have sent me. If you are a 17 year old looking for some cheap insurance for your moped because you have next to no money, like I was, don't use Express.
I am genuinely upset and appalled with the situation I am in.
