Franco's, Enniskillen

Absolutely terrible experience with this restaurant.

Management seem particularly obnoxious when dealing with complaints. Won’t cross their door again.

we went there last friday night and were very unhappy with our experience.

there was thirteen of us out for a meal.we were greeted initially by a bad humoured waiter who snapped at us because we had one cancellation even though he had been emailed previous to inform him.the first round of drinks was eventually ordered after what seemed a lifetime of trying to get their attention. it took another 20 minutes for him to bring the drinks to the table.the portions of food were miniture.some of our party ordered ribeye steak. it was presented on a very lonely plate. no garnishes,sauces,no anything.tried to order another round of drinks.13 of us individually flapping our arms to get attention. it took another half an hour to order and another 20 minutes to get drinks.left francos thirsty hungry and annoyed.will never eat again there. personal opinion they have become dangerously cocky.

Had the Early Bird Menu in Franco's recently. The food was superb and it was excellent value. There was a good selection of dishes and a good children's menu - not the common menu of fish fingers & chips! The staff were friendly and efficient! Absolutely no complaints and I highly recommend!

Had another great meal recently in Franco's. Was out with a group of friends. everyone in the group agreed it was a superb meal; friendly staff, great atmosphere & very good value.... Couldn't ask for more!

I live locally and eat here often. I have never had a bad meal. There is a range of prices to suit all tastes! Great atmosphere. Pleasant and comfortable restaurant whether it's a quick pizza or a formal meal you're looking for! I have no hesitation in recommending Franco's to anyone who recognises and appreciates good food!

Don't understand adverse postings food is great,atmosphere is busy and decor is homely if potentially dark. The main thing is the food is great, both times. Service is good and pleasant, with knowledgeable staff. The menu is large but excellent and portions are large. Price reflects the quality of the food was happy to pay the bill. My only criticism was the dessert menu was predictable and no light dishes after two large courses before, but this is the case in many places.

Having about Franco's for years and believing it to have a good reputation we didn't hesitate to book a table on a visit to the area. What a huge mistake. Food extremely overpriced and for our visit, inedible. We left having just about finished starters to return to our hotel for a sandwich. Disaster.

Was not impressed with Franco's, Enniskillen at all. Food was not great and very much over priced. Staff not friendly at all.

Francos is split into two areas. On the first occasion, we were given a table in what can only be described as a working men's cafeteria area. It was loud, too many tables in a box and wholly lacking in any atmosphere. The food was adequate but wholly unmemorable. What added to the occasion was a loud and unpleasant drunken hen party, of about 20 girls who the staff seemed to have no problem letting scream and roar as much as they liked.

So, lets be fair. The second area seems nice and atmospheric. Undaunted by our first experience, I and my girlfriend rang and specifically booked the "good" area (old part). When we arrived, we were immediately shown to the car ferry area, and when we said that we had booked the other room, we were told "Oh, a lot of people ask for that". We then said that we were leaving and were invited to go to the bar and wait (eh, not offered a drink, you understand, just invited to wait). Bar area? Eh, no. An overcrowded area stuffed full of people blocking the bar so it is impossible to get a drink. A drink? Eh, well the problem is solved anyway, because there is no barman committed to the bar. Instead, they either run around, overly burdened tending tables or look after...yes, all their pals beside the bar, ignoring everyone else. This was hopeless. Eventually, we left, never to return. However, thanks to a very helpful taxi driver we were brought to Scoff's restaurant where the atmosphere is first rate, the staff friendly and attentive, without being invasive and the food and wine can only be described as second to none.

Takes years to build a reputation - why didn't they just apologise to this lady who was breast feeding in Franco's restaurant.

My family will not be going back.

They are also the owners of Squires Restaurant on the Tempo Road. I'll be avoiding this also.

Such a pity.
