Rimax Baby Kangoo

This unit is absolutely terrible. The only way I can get a clear picture is to place parent unit and camera side by side. Even placing these 5 metres apart with nothing in between causes picture to roll and go static. Changing channel doesn't make a difference either. Placing in different rooms just causes picture to roll constantly and cut out. Sound is terrible. Total waste of money, unfortunately I purchased this at beginning of my pregnancy and didn't set it up until it was out of warranty. Do not buy! It doesn't work

Flashes non stop on monitor, flashes with sound of course so you have to switch off the sound to not to go crazy. Annoying device. Cause it was a gift is still at home but I'll buy another.

I returned this camera after it failed to give a decent picture or understandable audio. The video was not clear and was continuously interrupted with flashes (2-3 flashes per second) and the audio was horrible. There was no way to see my child. The store replaced the camera with another (same model). The replacement had the same problems. There was nothing between my monitor and camera (no walls, no furniture, no people, etc.), and all electrical devices working on 2.4 GHz were unplugged. This is a horrible product.

The Rimax Baby Kangoo has a very simple to set-up system that works well through walls. Nice sized monitor balances picture size against portability.
