We Brought The Mamas And Papas 8 In 1 Travel Syste
We brought the Mamas and Papas 8 in 1 travel system. We have found this a terrible buy. The pushchair with the carrycot tipped over and the chassis did not go straight. Eventually M&P replaced the chassis. The seat unit has a massive gap between the unit and the hood, when in lay back. The seat was sent away and they found another fault with it, the seat unit has been replaced. My new chassis still steers to the right!!
Mamas and Papas after care is the worst I have ever experienced.
The 0-9 mth car seat is great and the basket on the chassis is big.

I Found The Mamas And Papas Mpx Pushchair To Be Ve
I found the mamas and papas mpx pushchair to be very good value for money my son used it frm newborn right up untill he was about 2 its great because it has the pram top for newborns then as they grow it has the pushchair which just clicks onto the chasis. also if your baby is asleep and your just nipping into a shop the car seat also fits onto the chasis which is great. i am currently using mine for the second time around and it is still a great pushchair i cant fault it in any way i would highly recommened this pushchair the only problem people might have is that it is quite big when folded down but overall a fantastic buy which can last years it has shocked me !!

When We Went To Buy A Pram System I Knew What I Wa
When we went to buy a pram system I knew what I wanted from one - proper pram body, pushchair seat, plug on car seat, will last from birth to not needing a pushchair - and this was only one we found that ticked every box. With the addition of the overnight mattress we didn't need to buy a moses basket. The pram body was big enough to accommodate my son until he wanted to be sat up in the pushchair. I loved being able to put the foot rest up when he was younger and fully reclined, the pushchair is a portable bed too. Basket is big enough for a lot of shopping, pram is maneuverable enough with one hand now I am chasing a toddler, when I needed a new screw (I had one loose!) the staff at the local store just gave me one, could go on and on but used this every day for last 2.5yrs and love it. About to reuse on bub 2

We Bought This System Because We Wanted Something
We bought this system because we wanted something suitable from birth but which would grow with the baby. We hated the Bugaboo and no other system had the quality and versatility of the MPX (not even M&P's own pPramette or Pliko3).
Mamas & Papas had a special offer where the frame, the pushchair, the carrycot, the carseat, the carseat base and the stand (the latter came in very handy for using the carrycot as a bed and later the carseat as a highchair) all for '£530 if I recall correctly
There are quality touches everywhere; everything snaps in easily with a reassuring click, the carrycot has a pullout lever that lets you incline one end which is great for newborns, especially after feeds, the buckles on the pushchair were sturdy and easy to use. In fact the whole "take out of the car, unfold and snap-in" routine takes about 15 seconds
On the minus side, it feels wide (though not the widest out there by any streatch), the basket is not very accessible, especially with the carrycot installed and is a little hard to manouver with weight, edpecially one-handed. The accessories are all similarly expensive (the footmuff, sunshade and raincover are essential)
I give this a 7/10 because there are niggles, but in reality I don't know what other choice I would have gone for
I bought the MPX with all the extras and it was £600+ money well spent, we had no need to to buy a Moses basket as the carry cot fitted nicely on to a stand (which we also purchased) all round an excellent buy.
My only complaint which may I add seems very minor but has really irritated me is that I bought the matching changing bag which the stitching has started to come undone (baring inmind that it is only 5months old) mamas and papas would not send a replacement bag out they will repair it meaning I'll be with out a bag for 10 days, I paid £85 for this bag which by no means is cheap and they can't even replace it for me!!!
