A technician came to remap my ecu only to find that it had all ready been done, he took the battery off and plugged the ecu into the computer to write the files, I had paid £259 in full in good faith, after telling me that the ECU had all ready had the files written he still had to charge me £80 for his services- which I thought was really expensive, I knew I would have pay something but £80- really!!!!!!!

Bought a Stage 1 remap for my golf. Initially they sent the wrong device, however with the second device I was able to remap my car. Fast forward 6 months and my EGR valve is failing. I've asked for an add on for a EGR delete tune. Superchips have asked for another £324 pounds , essentially buying the stage 1 again for a simple EGR delete. It's a bit insulting considering I've already purchased from them . I expect better support for a tuning company

Remap caused too much issues with engine, including an engine warning light and misfire. Engineer came and removed the remap and was very helpful offering a refund. Refund was given but not told at any point about a non-refundable deposit. This led to incredibly rude and sarcastic lady down the phone telling me she’ll refund there own fuel at cost to themselves because of me and assured me she’ll “get someone sacked” for not telling me.

So rude, left me absolutely livid and will not be using this terrible company again. AVOID!

Excellent service had the guys come out 3 times for me because my car was a bit complicated and all 3 were very helpful . I had the operations manager come down on the last go and he had the tune done in under a hour in the middle of a storm. Super chips went above and beyond. The remap it self is great car is faster without the loss of economy. Thanks.

Title says it all really not worth £260 to remap your engine, stress wear on engine components not forgetting decreased mpg and increased insurance premium.

Had my Audi S4 3.0ltr supercharged, remapped by superchips.

Local Swindon superchips agent an absolute star...but the product he's given to upload is not a tried and tested product although HO said it was used in many s4's..!

Raw incredible gains and turns the S4 into an Rs4 almost! but the S-tronic gearbox had flat-spots between gear changes since the remap.

They had the car at HO for a day of testing but couldn't fix or eliminate the flat spot between gear changes so had to revert back to stock without recompense . Could not sell the car with their remap.

Joe Harris is not a qualified mechanic. He has no qualifications and cannot complete the most simple tasks on a car. I would advise anyone to stay away if they want a professional. His van looks the part, then you see him. He takes your car and its hard to track him down. His so called PA Carol, is really rude and he can be found at 134 Midhurst gardens if he doesn't answer your calls.

we had a superchip fitted by an agent called AMS in Harrow. he was nothing short of a con-man. the fuel consumption was much worse Joe avoids my calls still chasing several months later...dont bother !
