I was able to get advice on a product during lockdown when the office was closed. Communicated via email and got replies very quickly. My P1PE petrol jet washer was sent by courier and arrived promptly, tracking was very informative. Overall excellent service and brilliant product with powerful Hyundai engine.

I ordered a Feestool bevel guide. The item was out of stock initially but sitebox contacted me when the item became available, and shipped with 24hr courier. The price for this particular part was the best I could source, so I was happy to wait and was happy with customer service. Now the bad part of the review.

The tool comes in a thin plastic vacuum formed box. Rather than package this item in a cardboard box to protect it during transport, Sitebox simply put it in a plastic bag and shipped it. Needless to say my item was smashed to peices upon delivery. Come on sitebox we all know that all couriers are a bit rough with our parcels, so please package the items better prior to dispatch.

Ordered an in stock product off website. It wasnt. Chased up constantly over a week they never bothered to follow up themselves or call & when I did get hold of them they blamed manufacturer & courier. Not remotely interested in customer service as they had already pocketed cash. Product only arrived thanks to manufacturer chasing up.

In short dodgy reseller.

Contacted sitebox no fewer than 3 times to enquire about some gloves. They did not even have the courtesy to respond to me. The particular gloves i wanted to order were shown as being in stock, even though they were actually out of stock. They totally ignore any e-mails you send them and their on-line Live help is never On-line! Disaster!

We have just started a carpentry business so needed a lot of power tools. We emailed Sitebox with our requirements asking for a discount for a large order. They duly gave us a small discount but in the process, substituted a jigsaw for a lesser model. We didn't notice this! We were advised delivery would be 3 or 4 days.

Over the next 22 days we had to keep phoning to find out when we could expect delivery. It turned up in several deliveries over a period of 22 days. When we went to use our new jigsaw on a decking job, we found out we had the wrong one. When we phoned them to find out what had happened, we were told 'I substituted it because we didn't have the one you wanted and I thought this would be the same'!! It wasn't the same and because we'd used it, they wouldn't change it. I had to buy a second hand jigsaw from ebay and sell this one.

Overall. I wouldn't use this company again. Hopeless delivery times and clueless staff sending you stuff you don't want.

On a positive note, the staff are all very nice to deal with. I did get a £20 goodwill credit, but this was minor compared to the hassle they caused us!!

Excellent site and service, this must be the 3rd or 4th order I've placed in the last month, goods always as described and delivered very quickly.

Sitebox ltd has become a 'first stop' supplier for me because of their excellent service.

Purchased a CCTV system from Sitebox and I had some problems setting it up, phoned them and they spent over an hour on the phone with me step by step until it was up and running.

I can't fault them + great value for money.

I ordered what looked like a floodlight you could attach to the wall. When it arrived it was a floodlight which sat on a stand which was not what I wanted. On phoning to complain I was told that the product had changed - so why don't they change the picture on the website! The spare bulb I ordered was a 500 watt but what I received was a 400 watt. I was told that this was what was recommended, so why was the bulb with the light a 500 watt! A screw was missing and has never arrived. All in all not a very good experience, although the light was cheap. I shall not be ordering from them again.
