Excellent Helpdesk And Good Channel Management System

Guestlink link in with Booking.com, laterooms, Agoda and lots of the bigger sites, as well as smaller sites such as freetobook and queensborough. They have excellent links with the local tourist office and I think these links are what makes it so strong. Their Helpdesk are quick to answer queries and always seem to enjoy their jobs. They offer annual or pay as you go options for lots of their products and link with paypal.

It only seems to really work if you're in an area where they have strong links or you setup links with some bigger systems but as a channel management system they're excellent.

Guestlnk Review System Is A Joke

Write a bad but very fair review of a guest link customer such as a holiday cottage and it gets 'moderated' and deemed unsuitable for publication. The reviews that are published are therefore selective and totally worthless.

Waste Of Time Avoid!!!

I run a small guesthouse in Scarborough and rely on Eviivo and Laterooms as main booking providers but i thought i might be missing out from local tourist information booking. So i phoned them directly to inquire, after a lengthy conversation i decided to join for a year and was talked into joining Guestlink also because this was my 'best option'. So i paid upfront an initial fee knowing i would also pay 10% commission from any booking generated by Guestlink. So i was ready to get started, i was asked to attend meeting to show how Guestlink booking system worked which i attended. I found using Guestlink quite confusing and frustrating, basically you update your availability which refreshes your ranking on their site which i found to be awkward, i did it this for the whole month of July only to receive two 1 night bookings for the whole of August which i thought was just awful, when i phoned to complain all i got was 'i must be doing something wrong' 'not updating your availability enough' i said i did but they do not listen. I talked to other b&b's in my area and they all said the same so i thought it can not just be me 'getting it wrong'. I truly waste of money site not managed right by local authorities. Avoid!! £300-£400 i paid to join only to get 2 bookings at height of season. I get the feeling this Guestlink concentrated on filling the larger hotels first and the smaller ones could keep refreshing as much as they liked but would make no difference, so a big waste of time and money for small b&b's like ourselves. Eviivo do a much better job for me and i can not see Guestlink lasting against companies like Eviivo who get it right. Will not be resubscribing!

Really Slow And Unproductive For Holiday Cottages!

We have two holiday cottages and are on several other referral websites. The amount of time it takes for pages to load from guestlink.co.uk is so much more than others. The calendar interface is not simple, you have to load a new page for each month or week, and with constant crashing and returning to the start. It may be suitable for hotels and caravan sites but it takes ages to fill each new booking in and when you've done so there's no guarantee the information will have been saved to the site. As for filling in the pricing, it's an utter joke, and I cannot see why a simpler system can't be employed. I have to appear on it as I am a member of an organisation which includes it, but I have just tried to fill in some details and it just keeps crashing and I have given up after half an hour. When I complained some time ago I was told it was a problem with my computer. This doesn't explain the fact that a) sometimes it works and sometimes not b) every other website works for me c) other websites have simpler interface systems. In my opinion a one-size-fits-all approach to booking websites is not proven to work here.

An Excellent Hotel Management System For The Small

An excellent Hotel Management System for the smaller hotel at a very reasonable annual rate. Very helpful customer support.

Overall we would recommend this system to any small hotel that was dipping it's feet into the water of computerised management systems for the first time. The integration with on-line booking is excellent.

It has brought us some excellent business.

I Have Been Using Www.guestlink.co.uk Since Septem

I have been using www.guestlink.co.uk since September last year. We own a small caravan park in Anglesey and having this online facility has helped us to attract more customers. I'm not a computer genius, but the whole process is clear to me now after using it for a few months. I would recommend Guestlink to anyone.
