Weedol 2 General Purpose Weed Killer

Weedol path and gravel – ready to use – absolutely useless. The battery spray handle is intermittent at best, and your hand hurts from pressing the button for no effect. Tried many times to have another go with it , the result is a smell that lingers for days And no results on the weeds – I resorted to emptying it into a watering can with a spray nozzle but that did not cover as much ground obviously. I will go back to using the weedol path clear sachets with the watering can and spray nozzle – much more effective and less pungent smell . This version is an unnecessary gadget that is not fit for purpose – thought up in the boardroom – why change something when it doesn’t need to be changed?

I sprayed heavily a few small weeds with WEEDOL weed and WEEDOL moss killer but The weds are still (after 3 days) completely unaffected

so I advise avoiding these products BECAUSE THEY'RE NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE.

Calling WEEDOL themselves is not advised, because they just have a 1990's type answerphone service saying they'll call you back if you leave a message and phone number.

i bought a load of this and treated the areas i needed to all the weeds died but three weeks later everything was back i even made it stronger than the instructions and still within weeks everything was back it did not kill the roots as it says it does i will never buy this product again it was a waste of time and money and i would recommend that you buy a product that does work not this rubbish

Weeds seem to thrive on this product - certainly seems to be an accelerant rather than a deterrent. Surely someone can recommend a weed killer which does the job first time. Weedol certainly can't.

Just bought 3lt Weedol Plus from Homebase,find the spray gun mechanism useless,produces such a poor spray reckon it will take me hours to apply.Its going back to the shop tomorrow,back to the watering can for me! Sure the stuff is fine and works, if only I could get it on the weeds.

Weedol Max 1 hour weedkiller works very well, but it leaves a white mark on

the patio. I bought some from Wyevale, and sent my coupon for £l.50

refund to address on form. This was well over two month's ago, and have

still not received refund. I see this garden centre are now doing the same

with roundup. Very distrustful of any offers now from Scotts;

Very effective on annual weeds and seedlings from my neighnours sycamore tree! Took a few doses to kill off the tougher weeds but it did do the job! Not overly cheap but much better than buying a ready mixed version.
