Cheap And Fantastically Useless!!
I had my motorbike stolen over 2 months ago and not a word from them.
Apparently KGM are one of the biggest insurance companies (underwriters) for motorbike insurance. All good if you never have to make a claim - they do not handle their own claims but outsource the work to a company called Auto Accident Claims. Since I have had the displeasure of being in contact with this company they have delayed, lied and in summary been useless in handling my claim.
I called KGM to let them know that the company they were using to handle their claims were terrible but the response was amazing - 'nothing to do with us, if you have a complaint contact AAC directly'.
Safe to say that if all goes well you will have no problems but as in most things in life you only see what someone (or a company) is like when things go wrong. KGM are useless!!

Had an accident with a third party that died as a result of the accident and KGM responded with me either suing the deceased third part's family even though i had no injurys or they refused to do another.

My Motorbike Was Stolen In Septermber 2010 And Its
My motorbike was stolen in septermber 2010 and its now march 2011 and i am still fighting with the insuarnce company about paying out, i have had to stop all communication with then and gone to the ombudsman to help sort this out for me. They are the worst bunch of people i have every had to deal with, they have no idea what they are doing and will do anything to stop paying out.
I had the bike 18 days before it was stolen in that time i was still waiting for the inurance documents to aarive which they never so when the bike was stolen they said it was not covered to be outside my house as its insured to be garaged at another address but if its at my house it to also needs to be in a garage, well i dont have a garage and this was not told to be before i bought the insurance and so there argument was that it said this in the policy (which i never got) documents but when i said i never recieved them they said they emailed me the forms lol who emails insurance documents which i never got, so as you can guess they have no proof of sending me any docs or informing me of claws before hand. Bunch of timewasters who i will never deal with again and dont care they left me with out a vehicle to get to work and lost 2k

Never Never Use This Company, It Is Staffed By Inc
NEVER NEVER use this company, it is staffed by incompetent idiots, if you ever get to speak to anyone. To add insult to injury you have to speak to their sub-contractors which also appear to be entirely staffed by clueless idiots. There is not a single person to deal with nor does any one know what is happening at any one time.

I Took The Policy Out Through My Broker And After
I took the policy out through my broker and after 7 months changed my bike, because kgm wanted a stupid amount of money to reinsure my new bike i canelled with them, the policy had 5 months to go and they just laughed when my broker asked for a refund,need i say more?? Definately wouldnt use or recommend them.

The Worst Insurance Claim I Have Ever Known, They
The worst insurance claim I have ever known, they lie and drag it out.
I had an incident back on July 27th in France, and they kept me waiting at the scene for 6 hours whilst they were sorting out a company to collect the car, in the end the local police took it away and charge me £150, money KGM never gave me back. They then told me they were waiting for the car to be inspected when infact it already had been two weeks before, something that I know because I spoken to the company completing this job.
It is Now several months later and I am still at the same point, they never answer the phone and never reply to emails, oh I tell I lie I emailed them once on the 3rd September and got a reply lunchtime on the 23rd.
Total rubbish!
