Could Be A Good Site , Needs Cash Input
August 2011 , Weve just returned from 2 weeks at Breydon water ,
A bright clean looking site at first look and the staff were very friendly.
Could really do with its own shop but there is a post office at the entrance so it does the trick,
We encountered many problems with the laundry ..mainly failures conastantly !
The caravans are cramped together but you can get your car next to it (bonus)
Our Silver 2 bed was a sty..we had to thoroughly clean it & all the utensils, there was old vomitt around the toilet & it was vacuumed by stevie wonder we presume !
The shelf had to be re fitted in the small room by me,
The door was falling off its hinges & had to be re fitted,
the towell heated towell rail was ripped off the wall & when i complained they said they would sort it & never did !
My list could go on but as we found out from other people ours was better than some,
The noise was too much so try to get away from the club area (we were not that close)
Personally i did not find this site relaxing !
But i must recomend a local pub for food etc it was brilliant & just a small walk down to the marina The "Fishermans inn" at Burgh castle marina ticks all the boxes & what a fantastic location....
In summary Dont be put off the site but set your expectations low & your accomadation choice as high as you can afford,
as a location its spot on & the staff tried very hard & came over friendly,
The van being small was a problem as i have 2 grown lads so we struggled ..
I think a cottage may be for next year !

We Stayed In A Gold Caravan At Breydon Water Which
We stayed in a gold caravan at Breydon Water which was lovely and clean. It is part of the Park Resorts group. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant, with a good choice for vegetarians and there were some special offers on.The staff we came across all seemed very friendly and polite. The clubroom could do with being a bit bigger. The park covers two separate areas,a ten minute walk away. There are two swimming pools, one on each area,if you want to be near most of the amenities you need to be on Yare village, the other one is called Bure village which is more quieter. However you can the facilities on both parks.I liked how many attractions were close by,we visited Pleasurewood Hills and Great Yarmouth Sealife centre. We all enjoyed our holday and have booked again for next year.
