Purchases my house Dec2014 was told could move in on 19 th but didn't get in until7:30pm Dec23rd. House is a nightmare so many problems that need rectifying nearly a year on and still no further forward. No one ever gets back to you even sales managers. Please don't waste ur time with them my 3 yr old son had to sleep in a van while we moved into the property and I don't want another young family going through the stress and anxiety that we did.

 rubbish at snagging. Been waiting 8 months for a kitchen shelf. Also tiles are moving in bathroom and they say they r between contractors. About to go to solicitor as I believe they r breeching contract. Argghhhh

Homes are brilliant, well designed, excellent specification. All let down however by the extremely poor service for snagging and completing outstanding items of work. I've been in my home for 7 months and I am still awaiting basic items to be completed. I was rushed into my property in time for their year end, and it was clear Bett Homes / Gladedale did not bother to snag it before I moved in. It's left up to the owner to spend hours and hours compiling a list and then fighting for the works to be completed. Basic works that should be picked up before you move in. I would only recommend that you purchase a home if you are insistent with them that they snag the house AND complete all works before legal completion. No excuse not to in my opinion.

1 year after agreeing to purchase a Bett home I’m quite frankly exhausted – the whole end to end experience has been dreadful. After the initial lovely point of sale experience which included some cleverly constructed lies things went slowly downhill reaching a peak when we were given the keys to the house on 23/12/14 – all excitement immediately extinguished – MORE than 80 snags some major (front door difficult to open/close, bi-folding doors wouldn’t open at all), stair rail loose, missing trickle vents, appalling standard of decoration/painting, exposed wires, brand new heating system not working, sinking drive) others minor – it’s taken 5 months of constantly harassing Bett to get everything fixed and looked at yet still things going wrong almost daily – bi-folding doors have dropped so we cant lock them, dishwasher broken down, door handles coming loose) – no pro-active approach whatsoever from Bett – we’ve had to chase and chase, take time off work – trust me our property was rushed big style so they could get their money before the end of the quarter – I’ve since complained directly to their CEO and MD – what was the response – well everything is fixed now !!! Just dreadful, dreadful, dreadful customer experience #donotbuybett

7 months in and still waiting for snagging problems to be repaired......cracked bath dented front door missing kitchen panel carpet flaw bad grouting on tiles leaking boiler I am sure there is more to many to mention. Customer service needs to be reviewed ....promised to extend our patio as a goodwill gesture 10 weeks ago never seen them again and one knows anything about the patio.....I tried emailing customer service no reply.....take your money then don't care

We bought a property at Astley Park in Barnsley in December 2012. We have had alot of problems with this property which after several repair visits are still faulty. Our door handles keep dropping off our floors creak and our front bedroom is freezing. I am very disapointed as we have bought new builds before off other companies and had no problems. I feel stuck with a property that was overpriced and thrown together poorly.

Poor customer service after you got have your keys. Never trust any words from the site manager because I trusted Krish's words that he will send Plastic Surgeon to fix the scratches my bathtub, however customer service decline this and told me they wont be sending plastic surgeon to fix the scratches and there nothing in written that site manager promised me about that. My wardrobe hasn't been for last 5 months. If you want cheap house with worse customer service then go to Bett Homes or else go with other builder.

Bought a four bed detached at Meadowgate Park Leeds, great sales. Thats where it ends. The customer service is appalling if non existent. We have had numerous snagging issues which have been going on for nearly five month. We email the MD of the Yorkshire division on a weekly basis - he never responds. They don't seem able to coordinate contractors and when a contractor does appear he usually isn't qualified to do the job, for example they send a plumber to do a joiners job etc. Whenever they "repair" anything they cause another problem. They arrange appointments and don't turn up and we have wasted at least five days annual leave over two months waiting in for no reason. This company is dreadful and if we had known how bad they were we would never have bought a house with Ben Bailey. If you're thinking of buying one...DONT!

Bought my house nearly 2 years ago now. My washers leaked a couple of times but they havnt bothered to do anything. Just kept passing me number after number ring that try this. With a baby in my hands and a partner that works away USELESS doesnt come close. You can NEVER get in touch with the SO called CUSTOMER SERVICE department id give that an overall rating of 0. My patio doors have dropped amd wouldnt close properly you had to actually lift the door to close it. Finally got a door engineer out to fix that. Outside my house we have a landscape area they just left that an absolute mess it was more like a cornfield by letting the grass grow as high as 3 foot. After numerous complaints of calls and emails and 6months plus of waiting by this time a whole season had gone by they finally got it cut. It still looks an ansolute mess because they decided to place cabins on top of the grass whilst building the last two properties. The excuse was they were always budy and they never got the chance to come and do this. Also 2 year down the line we are still awaiting a finished footpath and a finished road. The water tobies are sticking out the path and the kerbs are sticking out around 50-60mm above the base coat of tar which overall is a trip hazard. The door latch on our doors inside had to be replaced because whoever fitted them had penetrated them because the screws were too long and that resulted in them not working. I could be here all day typing stuff about buying a home woth BETT my advice is simply DONT GO THERE! All they want is you to buy a property and after that there not interested and they dont want to know its absolutely disgraceful shocking by the time theu finish this place off (pottery wharf) im hoping to be gone. Its a shame i couldnt show you all pictures to prove the mess Scandalous!
