From reading reviews elsewhere people should be warned that this microwave will stop working in some way as soon as the year warranty runs out.It is not worth the extra money you pay for the stainless steel version and will break down in numerous ways within 2 years.Mine was bought in 2009 microwave heating just stopped working although LED readout,grill and light all continue to work fine.

The machine looks nice and had all the features we needed (we wanted stainless stell as the white paint inside the last one had flaked off in sheets).

When just a year old the LCD failed so thereafter I could only use it on full power and set to 30 sec. intervals, cancelling when full half minutes were too much. A google search suggests others have had the same problem.

Now it has developed an internal short. With a bowl of water only in it to test after a report of a smell from it I got alarming sparking and switched off. Now badly scorched and next stop the skip!!
