We have just returned form a Monarch Holiday to the Greek Island of Alonissos. The Island was beautiful and I highly recommend it as a destination but please do not travel with Monarch. From the beginning of trying to book the Monarch website has been awful, it states one price for the holiday e.g £167 then when you click to book it adds £100! I spoke to them many times and they said its got something to do with the flights but this happens on every single holiday I looked at so its obviously dodgy.

We booked a "Package Holiday" with Monarch under the impression everything would be taken care of for us. We arrived at Skiathos and were then dumped at the port with no instruction on where to get the ferry, when I asked the rep she pointed in a vague direction and then jumped back on the bus and left. She had no interest in helping out.It then emerged that the ferry we had been booked on 4 hours later had been cancelled, so we were left with no where to store our luggage for hours. We managed to get booked on to a later Ferry but with no thanks to Monarch. thank goodness there were no eldery people travelling to this destination.I even called the 24 helpline that monarch provides and they said they would call me back and never did.

On the return they told us to be ready to leave at 12:55pm but then asked around locally and found out the ferry was actually at 06:40am. Again we were left in Skiathos port for 5 hours, no where to leave luggage and no idea if we would be picked up for the airport(what time or where) so had to take a taxi to the airport ourselves. The whole process was horribly organised and the reps did not care at all. I will never book with them again.

18.40and 23.50 Respectively, for their wonderful in Flight Service-We cannot

thank them enough for their attention to detail,wit and help.

This website is easy to navigate, however I hate that you do not get to see the final amount until you reach the final page because they add on so many extras throughout the buying process. Slightly annoying!

my wife and i have just been on holiday, with monarch. we got to the airport booking are seats on the aircraft full? seated 43d.44d (44e,44f) empty.we got third party. with the car. when we got there no third party.had to pay $400. no rep at hotel any time.seating on way home same as going. IF YOU ARE THINKING OF BOOKING A HOLIDAY WITH THIS COMPONY DO NOT PLEASE DO NOT. YOU WILL REGRET IT FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE.

we have just returned from qawra palace in malta. never again. Monarch Holidays was a disgrace. you had to pay for the mattress to put on broken sunbeds, rooms to small, food you would not feed to a dog.
