Arrogant Rude Staff & Bland Food. Small Portions.

Arrogant rude staff & bland food. Small portions. We ordered a chicken dish described as chunks of breast off the bone, only to be served two chicken drumsticks in a sauce! Also they added on a bottle of white wine to our bill which we did not have! After pointing this out the waiter went off in a huff to change the bill with no apology whatsoever. Bill for 2 people with a couple of beers was almost £80!! Will never eat there again; I have no idea who writes the reviews in the press! You will get better indian food from a supermarket- trust me!

I Was Disappointed With My Meal At Itihaas Last Fr

I was disappointed with my meal at Itihaas last Friday. Firstly, the menu is black and it was virtually dark in there so I couldn't read it. My boyfriend read it to me and I chose dishes accordingly. My starter looked like a plate of yoghurt with things floating in it. Tasted ok (ish) but fishing for bits of solid stuff in a yoghurt sea is not ideal. My main course was an aubergine curry but the spices were very dry (I like sweeter curries) and also salty. I thought it was just me, but my boyfriend also thought his dish (lamb) was salty. We both left quite a lot of it. Two mains, two starters, one beer and one water came to £50. I think this is expensive for what I felt was below average food.
