We Booked Our Tickets Through Theme Park Tickets D
We booked our tickets through Theme Park Tickets Direct three weeks ago and we have received no tickets. They have taken the money from our account. They seem to have gone into Administration/liquidation. It was paid for on Visa debit card, how can we get our money back? We can't get hold of anyone on their telepone number or on their website. Does anyone know how we can get our money back?

hi there we bought our tickets from themepark tickets direct back in june we have just returned from our trip but had to purchase tickets elsewhere are we were told they would not be despatching any just looked at our account and a full refund has been paid to us into our bank.

I purchased these tickets from this website back in early June as they were recommended in the FLORIDA BRITS GUIDE ... worried when they never arrived and was told they would be dispatched 14 days before departure (a lie !!) then received an email ... no apology or anything saying they have gone into liquidation !!! but their website continued to operate ...why !!!??? paid on debit card money built from hard work and savings so was told NO REFUND but have checked and as it is a VISA debit there is some hope of a refund but NOT before I go away ... we have had to borrow the money as we travel in 2 weeks... contacted Disney and are waiting for their response as they were one of DISNEY's official agents... no luck with Universal but ORLANDO TICKET DEALS were really helpful and sympathetic and replaced those tickets at a very discounted rate ...THANK YOU ...... also registered my disgust with WATCHDOG and Trading Standards ... if we all do this maybe someone out there will listen to us and maybe some recompense for the stress and upset prior to a well earned holiday that is clouded at the moment ........
Take a copy of the email you received saying you not getting your tickets as they have ceased trading to the bank as proof, also there is an article on moneysavingexpert.com (they recommended the company in the first place)telling customers what to do to claim their money back, I took a copy of this also to the bank. I too paid on debit card. Still waiting to hear if I get a refund but fingers crossed. Hope this helps.

Hi there, the same has happened to us, we have paid for our tickets and are flying 4 weeks on Sunday to Florida, we paid £820.00 for disney world and universal in total. now they seem to have gone into liquidation and we have received no tickets. we paid on a visa debit card, how do we get proof as our bank need proof from Theme Park Tickets Direct that they have not sent our tickets and are going into liquidation. How did you get this proof as we are trying to use the VISA chargeback sheme. it's so worrying.

I Bought My Tickets Through Themepark Tickets Dire
I bought my tickets through ThemePark Tickets Direct TWO Weeks ago, only to find today that the company has gone into liquidation, I fly to Disney with my son on Wednesday of next week, no time to purchase more tickets! Luckily I paid with my credit card and it is fairly positive I will be refunded. ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL.

I Booked Tickets For Universal Studios 3 Weeks Ago
I booked tickets for Universal Studios 3 weeks ago after seeing this company as a recommended retailer on the Money Saving Expert website. I called their call center on Monday 9th August 2010 as I became very concerned that the tickets still hadn't arrived. I was informed that the tickets would be posted 1st class that day and I would receive them by Wednesday 11th. When they still didn't arrive, I called again only to get an automated message telling me that the company was no longer trading and no tickets would be sent out. All this 2 DAYS before i'm due to fly out! What a cheek - they obviously knew they were never going to send the tickets when they took my money!!! Luckily I paid by credit card, so i'm hoping to get a refund from my credit card company.

We ordered £900 worth of tickets in early July,after two weeks we hadnt received them so i rang them and was informed they didnt post them out until seven days before travel!!! Yesterday i received an email saying the company had ceased trading and we wouldnt be getting them.We travel in 3 weeks time.

we had an email last night telling us that the company had ceased trading a week before we fly. we have been up all night worrying as we paid with a visa debit card and thought we would never get the money back!! we spent £1464 with this discraceful company. we save hard all year for our holiday for this to happen, its taken the excitement away for us. anyway after a long, long phonecall to our bank (Santander), we have discovered that we can claim it back as its classed as fraud as we have never recieved the tickets.As the company had no intention of supplying the tickets as they must have known they were going into administration for a while. apparently we will receive a disclaimer form to fill in then recieve the money back in 7 to 10 days. please please try with your bank there is hope for our money back. hope this helps some people x

I booked my tickets for Disney and Universal BEFORE reading these reviews and started to get a little concerned that they had still not arrived 2weeks later,although tickets which I booked through Travel republic.com for other parks had arrived by recorded delivery 2 DAYS later. I receicved an email telling me they ceased to trade and contact credit card company for a refund! Thankfully this is the first time I have used a credit card, normally I would have used a debit card but on the advice of Martin Lewis chose to use credit card. I just HOPE and PRAY I do recieve my £1300 refund and source some other way and means to purchase more tickets. This is at a time my family should be looking forward to their holiday,not worrying and stressing out!! This has put a black cloud over our up and coming holiday which we have saved for,for a long time..I only wish their internet site had been shut down before now to stop unsuspecting customers falling into their trap. :-(

Booked tickets for Disney and Universal Studios at the end of July for our holiday in September but got an email yesterday telling us they could not fulfil our order and to contact our bank. We booked with a debit card so we are not covered by them. My friend booked tickets after us for Universal yet they received theirs!!!Now we are £1400 out of pocket(which we can't afford) 1 month before we travel. This company is part of Keith Prowse so I hope they will honour our tickets! I only found out recently that this company is based half a mile from where I live in Belfast. They're still taking orders for tickets on their site so STAY AWAY!

Just Been E-mailed From A "call Centre" Saying Tha
Just been e-mailed from a "call centre" saying that the company has ceased trading! Bloody great but unlike some on here, we still have time to purchase other tickets, I feel for those who will be left without any.
I'm hoping that as the tickets were booked on a Credit card a full refund will be made, here's hoping!!!
On others advice I'm off to American AttractionTix.

I have just received an email from this company two days before travel to say they have ceased to trade and cannot fulfill my order ,but if you go online you can still spend thousands of pounds for absolutely nothing , i have informed trading standards ,so do not go near them it will be the worst thing you ever do !
