Peru Holiday
Very disappointed with the customer service from this company
We were booked to go to Peru later this month, however with the ongoing political unrest and declared state if emergency in the country we contacted Cox and kings to request to transfer our deposit to another holiday of equal value, however this was not acceptable to the company, they only offered to move the holiday by 6 months, due to work commitments this is not suitable to us, something that C&K could not acknowledge, the only option was to cancel the holiday and lose a large deposit, they were encouraging us to pay the full amount and then make a decision 30 days before date due to travel, but this would then mean us losing £4500 ????
We made a formal complaint and had an extremely poor response, not at all satisfactory! We will NEVER book another holiday with this company!
Virgin In Colabiration With Cox And Kings
Booked our holiday through Virgin, and to be honest we had saved up to go with virgin because we thought it would be a bit special. The holiday was the Golden Triangle with 6 days in Goa at the end, It was run by Cox and Kings. We already had an amazing holiday in South India with Citrus holidays, and it was a third of the price of North India with Virgin. I would never have enough time to list all the bad points about Cox and Kings, but leaving us stranded at 3am in the morning, no answer on emergency numbers, charging us for a night in a hotel and for breakfast that we never had. Taking us by coach across India when it was supposed to be first class rail. A strike was on, but apparently the strike has been on and of for three years, so sometimes you get a train and sometimes it`s the coach, and when I say coach I use that term very loosely, Titan Holidays supply a coach, as we saw numerous times. I have photo`s of the filthy hotel room that we had to be moved from into another room. My partner was crying with disappointment as she had been so looking forward to the holiday. Virgin either do not check the holidays they sell, or don`t care. Use Virgin for flights only, stay away from their packages, and never go with Cox and Kings. A couple I work with went with Newmarket Holidays, they saw a lot more than us, got to stay in a palace, had a great time, and it was a lot cheaper. Virgin proves that paying a lot more does not mean you will get a better holiday.
Very Bad Management, They Change Whole Itinary Of Russiatour
We 8 personsfrom ahmedabad travel through cox and kings at Russian on 28th august 2018 but we have very bad experience.what they have given itinary at the time of booking, whole itinary was changed
flight was delayed for 4hrs, so we missed st petersberg flight and we reached at 3,30am on 29.8..2018 .
sightseeing was changed
tour guide had poor knowledge.HE forgot the ticket of peterhof tour so whole day was spoil and we have at last seen for 45 minutes.
tank ride was given for only 55 seconds so we have spoil wwhole day in that tour.
we have not given enough time at red square which is the most important place.entry
ticket was not given.so many hurdles were given by cox and kings.
we have already complain to the responsible director but we have not receive any reply
so main smartness of cox and kings is that they give all documents at last day at around 7.0pm and the office is close then after

Respected Sir/Madam
We took the glimpse of Europe Tour with this highly renowned tour and travel company ie. Cox And Kings. Our trip was going on a satisfactory note until the talk of our free day began..
we were informed by our tour manager that on our free day we were supposed check out of our hotel at 7 am in the morning which was not at all mentioned in the itinerary at all , and told us to look out for ourselves as she had to take the other group to Grund (a train station in Switzerland) for the excursion that we didnt choose as we wanted to relax as it was our "Free Day".
The tour manager dismissed our requests of any sort and had no solution for our family of 8 people and we were left stranded out of the hotel at 7 am in the morning.
Then after a heated discussion she agreed that while checking out of the hotel,she will drop us off at Interlaken while on her way to Grund , we agreed to this plan as we had no other option left after being harrased by our tour manager refusing to coordinate with eight of her tour members.
My family and I were all set to be dropped off at Interlaken but due to her utter missmanagement, she did not coordinate with the bus driver well. When the driver asked if he should drop us all first to Interlaken she refused and told him to take route leading straight to Grund then later when we asked the driver to drop us at interlaken as promised by our tour mannnager, he too denied our request saying that the tour mannager Mrs Reshma did not plan it this way at all with him... rather than coordinating anything at all for my family of Eight memeber and another couple of the tour she left us in middle of no where with no instructions whatsoever at the Grund train station. When we called and contacted her she told us that she can't help us and asked us all to be on our own.
My family at this point of time was left humiliated and harassed on a foreign land with no assistance from the Cox and Kings team in Delhi as well despite of them being aware of our situation we were told that they wil get in touch with the Head office in Mumbai and get back to us .. dissapointment striked further on when we got no response from them as well
I have been a loyal customer of this company since the last few years and had paid a good amount of 10 Lakh rupees on this tour but still was mentally and emotionally harassed by this Tour and travels company.
Despite of many Complaints made to the Delhi office I recived no response and wasn't compensated for the expenses( total of 432 Franc , 30, 013 rupees INR ) LET ALONE FOR THE MENTAL HARSSAMENT I had to incur due to the missmanagement of the tour manager and this well renowed travel company.
PRAYER: On behalf of my family, it is my humble request that we should be compensated for all the financial troubles we went through and the mental harrasment faced by us in the foreign land.
Don't Confuse Their Offices - London Is Different To India
I have just come across a lot of negative reviews about Cox & Kings on this site and was really surprised. I’ve travelled with them a few times and they’ve always been great. So, I brought this up with the company’s office in London when booking my recent holiday to Jordan and they explained that the reviews on the Review Centre site are almost all for people travelling with coxandkings.com, which is the Indian-based part of the company, running cheap tours for Indians going abroad. Although they’re part of the same group, the trips organised by Cox & Kings out of London are a completely different kind of holiday and much higher quality. Personally, I’ve always found the staff in London really helpful and the tours are excellent. I’d recommend them.
Refund Policy
We booked a Group Holiday with Cox and Kings with a guaranteed PAX of 70. Though we finally had a group of about 90, there were 4-5 cancellations. Despite the group size being over the agreed minimum, Cox and King took a very "legal" attitude on not refunding the amount paid. Knowing that we might take a legal route to recovery, they even threatened to cancel the entire Group Holiday if final payment was not made. This was so annoying that the entire group branded Cox and Kings as cheats and would never deal with them again.

Discovering Europe From Coach
Agents booked our nri trip and than merged us with indian discovery tour which was given at much lower price to indian customers .we were told it's an upgraded tour with good hotels.
But hotels were far away for which we spend most of our time in bus travelling to hotels and time cut off from sight seeing.
The tour manager had bad approach towards indians..she on each and every step used to say hurting words like they r not interested in history...dnt know how to behav in hotels...for breakfast etc....it was disgusting...
Even to city guide she used to tell in her ears dnt tell them too much they r indians not interested.
Always worried about reaching hotEl om time and cut our sight seeing time..
No promises kept by cox and kings..

European Gems Spoiled By Tour Manager
First family tour was spoiled by I experienced tour Guide, who had no knowledge about the main places we visited. Everyone was sarcastically commenting on his knowledge of tour..He was only arranging the Dinner in time. At Chamonix Mont Blanc he misguided the people that cable ride to go down the mountain to see Glacier museum from railway station is not included in our tour. Whereas it was . He would say Google and find out if we say tell us something about particular place. Hotels were good but so much rushing up for dinner... The tour manager really spoiled our tour. Would not travel by this company again..

Europe Gaurav Yatra 2017
Well..I vl GV my true opinion...don't spoil ur dream holiday with Cox n kings...just waste of money...no prior bookings done , hotel not gud, literally same food everyday...v paid extra for Gujarati tour bt not at all managed well...n before all this. Our tour manager lost his passport on the 2 nd day our tour so an inexperienced other tour manager came who knew nothing abt Europe or bookings...total waste of money ...

Worst Service And Well Unorganised
I booked under Bharat Dekho-Himachal Delight package I spoke to multiple people including senior person from COX & KIND for all the issue's we are facing during trip but no one bother to hear you, It's one of the worst tour in my life and words class unorganized company. Team don't bother to return your calls with corrective action but for Cox and king customer is not that much important. We had couple of passengers who had food poising due to worst quality food.Cox and king management must be very good in saling and marking the product but mouth publicity is only key to success in this industry. You people are completely fail in to it. COX and KING Will follow up with you till the time of payment after that they will least bother to update you, yourself have to do all the things including coordinating with driver , hotels , site seeing etc. Tour manager for our trip is one of the pain, he himself was learning and not even come to site to show the way. He has missed couple of spot from intermarry. Please don't spoil your vacation with COX & KING. VERY VERY POOR COMPANY..USELLESS staff
