For A First Bike.
For a first scooter it was OK. I have had problems in the cold and wet with it, so in the UK during the winter and early spring i would highly not recommend it. Balance is good and it is great in the city but travelling through country roads on national speed limit can be dangerous. pretty good on fuel efficiency but i did get mine 2nd hand. But still good for me to get used to.

Benelli Quattronove Buy It If You Can Fix It!!
I'm sure everyone has read reviews, as the ones above.
I bought a new Benelli and it has had two serious faults, the speedo cable broke and rollers wore out quickly???
My throttle cable keeps breaking???
It's too slow??
Ok all the above are true but the parts are cheap and can be replaced with better quality parts than the scooter was supplied with! Before you bite my head off I know the parts should be top quality or at least fit for purpose and I would be very annoyed if I purchased a NEW Benelli and cables snapped etc. I guess if you have bought a new one Take It Back To Your Supplier Do Not Void Your Warranty!!
As for the speed issues. In the UK the scooter is restricted so obviously it goes quite slowly. It has to, in order to be be legal!!
The complaints above are made on countless sites and this is the reason I picked up a six months old Benelli Quattronove for £600 with less than 2k on the clock.
1. Replace speedo cable with one that fits!!
2. Replace throttle/oil cable and make sure they are lubricated.
3. Remove the restriction from the exhaust by drilling out, or replace with a race pipe.
4. Remove washer from variator.
5. Replace air filter with race filter.
6. Re-jet. I found only the mainjet needed changing on my setup.
7. Fit an unrestricted CDI.
8. Play with roller weights (check for rollers moving freely as these are not top quality variator parts as stock). Play with variator springs etc to fine tune!!
Now you have a reasonable scooter!! Ok so if you use the stock exhaust you just paid about £700 for a scooter that goes 40-45 on the flat and 50 downhill. With a couple of years MOT still left and no problems!!
Or you can stay stock and LEGAL but I would suggest changing speedo and throttle cables or carrying spares for when the inevitable happens!!!
All the problems are minor and as I stated, annoying when buying a brand new scooter but you have to admit it is a cool looking scooter. I am a Benelli Scooter Fan for life!!!
Oh and one more thing The Engine Kill switch doesn't last too long. I know one person who got this scooter cheaper than me, sold as not running. Got it home, charged the battery, engine turning but no spark, opened up kill switch shorted the two wires in there and had a perfect runner for pennies!!! Really glad I found this out because my Kill Switch died this week!!
Benelli Quattronove for ever!!!

Far From Good But Good From Afar.
My friend bought a slower scooter than me I spent more money for my scooter and in parts too and the scooter is way too slow compared to my friends knock off scooter. Only exceeds the rev limit going down hill. I never changed the Cdi but everything else was upgraded from a professional. Can't wait to sell this scooter even if I only get half of what I put into this crazy thing. The scooter doesn't turn over now and can't wait to fix this scooter to sell ASAP. They say the 2008 is popular but I think they are popular in junk yards. Do ur self a favor and sell this junk.. Do not upgrade this scooter it will not show that much improvement. This scooter is far from good but good from afar.

Hi Marc and Greg After 20 years in the health and fiestns industry I finally see a paradigm shift in the way the message of health and fiestns is able to be delivered. This will give anyone who takes the time to read your book the power to take control of their own health. I finally have the feeling from a book that will deliver solid information rather than people getting the latest information of a passing fad diet. I am more than excited for people to read this book and take charge of their health and understand there is a solution for everyone, not just the fit population. Fitness and nutrition has been very confusing for most people and this book is written by some very intelligent minds and scientific evidence but yet put in a layman terms for anyone to read. Great job and I can't wait to get everyone I love and care for to read the book and make the SHAPE SHIFT . Thanks, Mike Joseph

This Is The Worst Bike You Can Buy, I Bought It Br
This is the worst bike you can buy, I bought it brand new and in the three months I have had it, it has broken down 9 times, the power is awful and it has awful uphill pulling power, the fuel cap is in the wrong place, by your feet, meaning the o-ring on the cap lets in water meaning it will break down within a few days of getting water in, dont get the bike spend a little bit more and get something better!
Or stop being cheap thinking your gonna get the best bike go for a new one

My 49x Didn't Even Get Me Home! Riding It Home Fro
My 49x didn't even get me home! Riding it home from the dealer it pulled back a couple of times then lost power altogether, and I was running it in the throttle was never more than 50% open. I had to park up and contact the dealer, then I had a long hill to negotiate and fortunately the Bin had enough power to pull itself up the hill with me walking alongside. It is such a good looking scooter that kids coming out of the local school admired it in its sad state when my Gamax going at full pelt only caused derision. Other faults on delivery were no horn, a fuel gauge that read full at he start of the journey and empty after 7Km; was it stuck at full or did it ditch 6l of fuel, I don't know. Ride height for me, 6ft, is great and the ride feel is wonderful. So after 7Km my Bin elle is back at the dealer and and I can't wait to have another go. One last thing according to my insurance company you can't legally de-restrict a 50cc scooter, so if you want to stay legal (and stuck at 28MPH) check before you go ahead; another insurer said he would insure a de-restricted bike (I have a full car licence and a current CBT) so the situation is not at all clear, shop around and ask the right questions - I'm going to change insurer at the end of the year and then get it de-restricted.
