Dont't Eat Here. The Staff Are Unhelpful And Hold

Dont't eat here. The staff are unhelpful and hold their customers in contempt. Wouldn't even give me a glass of water without paying. My son had stomach problems afterwards. The restaurant is noisy and stuffy. There are much better Inidan restaurants in Bangor.

The Food Is Consistently Good At The Green Chilli

The food is consistently good at the Green Chilli but we have finally reached a stage where the level of contempt that they treat you with as customer has become intolerable.

I have eaten in the restaurant on two occasions but ordered takeaway at least thirty times. At £30 a head that's about a thousand pounds.

On both occasions eating in the restaurant the service was laughable at best but all aspects of the takeaway service simply involve relentless lying. They will ALWAYS lie about the time you can expect the food either for collection or delivery. And you can pretty much guarantee that 50% of the time your food will not be as ordered even if you state allergy problems. Any complaint will be aggressively argued with. Even if they acknowledge that there is a problem you will be offered some sort of ludicrous solution or given some preposterous reasons for the mistake (never their fault obviously).

I could endlessly list the petty details of the problems but the bottom line is unless you really cannot find better Indian food elsewhere then you should avoid them. The only other reason you should visit is if you're a Tv producer and are looking for ideas for a new restaurant drama with a Fawlty Towers theme.

The Delivery Service Is Not Really A "service" At

The delivery service is not really a "service" at all from the green chilli. I can appreciate a place being busy but more than an hour and a half to deliver food is outrageous. It the restaurant can't provide the service...than simply don't. The unhelpfulness of the staff really puts the topping on the cake. It's a phone order service for Indian food so mistakes in orders shouldn't be too hard to avoid. Word of advice, is a customer calls to say that the order wasn't right, then you should really try your best to fix it. You've lost my custom and for those who want a hassle free order, please stay away.

The Green Chilli Indian Restaurant, Bangor, Had Gr

The Green Chilli Indian Restaurant, Bangor, had great food, lovely staff and you can bring your own bottle. Really recommend this little Indian to anyone who wanted to try authentic food. It was maybe a little cramped as it was very busy.

100% agree. The service is truly appalling for their takeaway.
