Poor Quality
Don't be fooled by reviews that say the reviewer has always worn these and their previous pair lasted 15 years and they've just bought a new pair. 15 years ago the quality was much better, but since Brasher first moved production to China and then merged with Berghaus the soles have got worse and worse. On both of the last 2 pairs the soles wore out well within a year, 7 months in the case of the last ones. Considering I mostly only wore them for walking the dogs for about 3 miles a day on fields and footpaths this is absolutely ridiculous. I can't speak for their other styles but I would never by Supalite again.

Do A Fair Amount Of Peak District Walking, And Hav
Do a fair amount of Peak District walking, and have used since July 10 to now (Jan 11). Very comfortable, with a reasonable grip on most terrain. Very waterproof (as long as you use an appropriate proofer such as Ledergris at regular intervals.) Early days yet, but certainly so far would not hesitate to buy another pair... mind you trust it will be a year or three before they need replacement.
But... of course... would always suggest going to a specialist walking boot retailer, and only considering boots that are a good fit for your own plates of meat.

The Brasher Supalite 2 Is A Fine Boot With Many Qu
The Brasher supalite 2 is a fine boot with many qualities, supports the foot very well, is light and totally dry with a good leather, goretex-lined upper. Its sole, however, has widely spaced flat and shallow "studs" that have little grip on grassy slopes and cause you to tumble on icy pavements. It is advertised for hill walking rather than mountain trekking, but I would pitch it more as a city walking boot.
Its laces also wear out after 3 months use.
