Comfatable Patrol Boots
purchased my Magnum Inceptor 8.0 side zip boots about 2 years ago. They took a week to wear-in comfortably to my feet. For the first few days these boots were very noisy making and made squeaking sounds as I walked. This soon stopped and after the initial wearing in period I found these boots the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. They are light weight and have great ankle support. They are easy to run in and once worn-in they are quiet. These boots have a excellent design at the back of the heel that make them comfortable to drive in.
I used these boots for over 60 hours per week in an outdoor environment for over 1 year. My Magnum Interceptor 8.0 boots stayed good in appearance for the first year but after that they started showing conspicuous signs of wear. The leather started to crease and slightly crack on the surface above my big and little toe mounds (where the my toes meet my feet). Also the moulded rubber that meets the leather on the side of the boots started to separate a little. This was only cosmetic and did not effect the performance of the boot.
I have replaced my Magnum Interceptor boots with a pair of Magnum Stealth Force 8.0 Boots. I still use my old Magnum Interceptor boots for leisure and have found that their light weight makes great for hiking.
