We Went For A Meal Tonight At Positano And It Was
We went for a meal tonight at Positano and it was fantastic.
The food was great as was the atmosphere and staff, the portions were very generous and great value for money. We had 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 glasses of wine, 2 peronis and all under 40 quid.
We coils defiantly eat here again x x

Great Potential But What A Let Down Loo
Great potential but what a let down
Looking in from the street the restaurant appeared cheerful and warm.
I was met by a dour faced man who surprisingly turned out to be the owner. Still, I was willing to give the place a go as the menu seemed nice enough though typical of the everyday italian variety. I ordered a meatball bolognese which is usually a winner. How disappointing here though! The food was as bland and unwelcoming as the atmosphere and service. I practically had to get up from my table and beg for someone to attend to my table and take an order for a beverage.
Great location but needs more attention to hospitality and the food.
You will find a nicer restaurant in Kingston town center.

I Have Been Going To Positano In Surbiton For Abou
I have been going to Positano in Surbiton for about four years now. I first happened across this little Italian on Ewell Road when I was going to the shop and thought 'why not' From the outside, I have to say it does not look much at all and you may think it looks a little glitzy but don't let this put you off. If you want traditional Italian food at extremely good prices then you really can't go wrong. The staff are fantastic hosts and make you feel so welcome. The extra little touches like giving you a free entree before your starter make you feel valued right from the start. The menu is pretty good ranging from the typical pizzas and pastas through to special fish dishes so there is something for everyone. You can also get take away from here and to be honest I think the pizzas are some of the best you can buy. As the restaurant is on Ewell Road, it might be best to walk if at all possible as parking can be a little tricky what with the residents permit holders thing going on in the side roads. If you want to go on a Friday or Staurday night then I advise you to book as the secret is out and Positano's can get very busy. Enjoy!
