Kenwood SB055 Smoothie 2GO Smoothie Maker

Was absolutely thrilled with my 2GO smoothie maker, used it every day for about a year and then a small plastic part essential to driving the blade just wore out. So disappointed and have trawled the internet to get a spare part as motor etc is still perfect.

If you're into your smoothies, then this is a wet dream for you! The easy of use and power make this the best machine I've ever used. The fruit etc (Weetabix work well too) goes straight into the cup so there's minimal clear up and with a few different speed settings those of us who imagine ourselves to be some kind of Tom Cruise in Cocktail to smoothies have plenty to play with.

I always hated making smoothies, as the washing up was such a pain. This smoothie maker is simply effortless. You put the fruit directly into the cup, so there is no extra beakers to wash up. Just rinse off the blades right away and all you'll have for later is your glass!

The motor is plenty strong enough, just don't overload it (obviously!) It blends to a nice texture and has two different settings, as well as a "pulse" option. The maximum you can fill it is also clearly labeled on the cup. Furthermore, with the two cups comes two lids with very firm seals, so they're perfect if you're dashing out of the house in a rush, and the actual body of the blender is so small that it's not a problem to leave it out of the side in the kitchen all the time.

I have had this machine for ages now and keep meaning to write a review of it as I love it so much. It is the easiest blender I've ever used. You just bung in ice, fruit and some milk, switch it on and in a few seconds you've got breakfast ready for fussy kids like mine! I use it all the time and it's really durable, easy to clean and most importantly quick and simple to use.
