Item Not Accepted For Delivery No Refund

Item not accepted for delivery as could not get in contact with their call centre after 3 days of trying. 5 emails later, 3 weeks after goods were supposed to be delivered - no goods - but money still not returned £904 held by company. Really poor company do not use - use someone who will protect them. by the way they are selling all there goods on amazon much cheaper under I BATH UK.

Got All What We Ordered From (shower Enclosure In Days)

Ordered from Bath Empire ,we found very helpful in our case.

The shower enclosure looks great, ( Read the instructions first, and this).

Best to have some one to hold frame/glass assembly as you put it together, use a spirit level to keep it square.

(without the corner screws the top frame will drop and the doors as well) (don't fit any doors yet).

Make sure you get all the required screws in the frame after fitting the glass side panels especially top and bottom corners

Take the part of the assembled frame with side glass to the position you want it to be, then mark the two walls where you

are going to put the shower enclosure holding strips, move the enclosure away from the wall, then fit the holding strips to

the wall first not to the enclosure that will push in later.

(We originally could not get a shower enclosure to meet the space where the shower is, some too big, some to small).

The way around that is to get the smaller one nearest to the size you want, then build a small extension from the wall

(in my case 3ins on one wall and 2 ins on the other wall)

then attach the two metal frame strips ,(one on each wall) that the sower enclosure frame can be pushed in the slot of the

wall braket as required.

After that carefully drill through with slightly smaller holes than the screws you are using at the left and right side of the

wall frame into the

shower frame to secure it.

Fit glass edge sealing strips before fitting the doors.

When fitting the doors, lubricate all the wheels before fitting is easer, with all the wheels fitted to the doors,

hang the top of the door first.

The bottom wheels are sprung loaded and it can be hard to press the small button to push the wheels down to clip in the

frame.

An easer way is to press down on the actual two wheels that clip in the frame at the same time.

Line up adjust one door first with frame and spirit level.

Then line the second door to the first door, then adjust the door stops for opening and closed position making sure

top and bottom stops both meet the

wheels at the same time, use shower proof sealer were required.

Terrible After Sales Care!

I have never felt the need to review a company online before as if I have had a bad experience in the past I have spoken with them and had any issues resolved. In this case I feel so strongly about warning others about the terrible after sales care I have taken time out of my day to do so.

We placed two large orders with Bathempire/soak.com as was having both wetroom and bathroom redone. Order was delivered with no issues, workmen come to install bathroom under the sink units only to find both of them was damaged and not useable. We called and only way we could get a replacement was if my husband was to take units to them to exchange! My husband had to take an afternoon off work to do this!

Workmen was left not being able to complete jobs as items from the order was missing (fixings etc) we are now currently waiting for a fixing kit for the shower screen which we was promised would be with us on Monday. Didn't arrive so I called again today to be told that they are having issues with their system and it won't be with us until Friday. I have explained what am I to do without a shower and a three year old and how the jobs can't be finished because of missing parts and they are not interested.

Asked to speak with a manager to be told this isn't possible as our company policy is to raise a 24 hour call back. Still waiting! The lady I spoke with today, felt I was talking to myself and she wasn't in the slightest interested in helping me.

I would never order from them again or recommend to friends or family.

Unacceptable

Ordered a few items on this site on 03/05/2016 paid £80 for next day delivery.

At 5:50pm the next day nothing arrived called the offices and received nothing but conflicting advise. 

Sales staff stated the manager was on the phone as we were speaking to find out where my order was. I asked if I could speak to the manager apparently making the immense efforts on my behalf to speak to the courier, I was advised I'd get a call back before 9pm. 

At 8:50pm I called the office again attempting to attain a ETA advised at this point the manager was still unavailable on a long call, but I was assured by staff the delivery will be there tomorrow. 

I received nothing on 05/05/2016 I called there offices again at 12pm spoken to in the most appauling and unprofessional manner by their sales staff stating they probably won't be able to deliver my order until Monday now?. 

I requested to speak with the manager who apparently was independently sorting out my delivery problem, told by staff he's on a call. Called five minutes later again he's still on a call. 

All I wanted at this point was a ETA and simply a update to my order, received nothing but poor communication from staff and even worse customer service. 

I am now 2 days past a next day delivery guarantee, a deficit of two days worth of income, unaware of the actual location of my order, and still haven't received a single email or call back from anybody at the company. 

The worst online company I've ever dealt with, I'll never be ordering from them again, avoid like the plague go with much bigger companies.

Do Not Use

This has been possibly one my worst ever shopping experiences. My order was not delivered, when i rang up i was told it had been delivered. It took two days of me constantly phoning to get any assistance. I was pretty much accused of taking the heaters. I was told that I had to wait a further two days as they needed to interview the driver and no equipment would be replaced until then. Then finally when I phoned again the person apologised and said "sorry he wasn't having a go" but now that he had spoken to his manager of course they would replace the equipment and then take it up with the courier company. When I had asked to speak to a manager I was told there was a 24 hour wait. Anybody who has bought a new house will understand how much stress this adds not to mention the cost of my builders waiting whilst they argued with me. The last straw was that I received an email for feedback before I got my heaters. Yes I have posted this review on several websites as I don't want anyone to go through what I have. I have said below terrible value for money due to the extra costs that I have had due to there lack of service

Faulty Product/terrible Customer Service. Avoid At All Costs

I ordered a shower screen from Bath Empire which arrived chipped. I contacted the customer service representative, who argued with me when I asked them to come and pick it up and give me a replacement, that I should dispose of the faulty screen myself. I am a single girl living on the 4th floor of a block of flats. How am I meant to dispose of it?? In the end, after much emailing and arguing, they finally sent me a replacement but I had to pay for a handyman to come and take the old one away in the end and another handyman to fit the new shower screen.

I have NEVER come across such appalling customer service; in the end, it would have been cheaper to buy from B&Q or Wickes whose customer service is great. I do not recommend this company under any circumstances - they are rip-off merchants and do not care about the customer.

Faulty Product, Cost Us More At The End

Toilet pan turned out to be faulty product -- water was leaking slowly. We received the replacement but we needed to pay for extra plumbing work. The product looked good and cheap but it was NOT worth to buy as it cost us more at the end. Also it was not easy to deal with customer service. Next time, we would rather go for other company even more expensive.

I have ordered a bathroom from Bathempire recently and the service received from the sales team was second to non. I have spoke with other bathroom retailers who don't have the knowledge compared to yourselves to make this easier for myself and my wife. I will be in contact around summer ready to start my en suite. Once again thank you for the support and service I received from start to finish.
